The game looks good in motion. Retro does some fine work, but I really hope this is the last DKC game they do for awhile.

If they HAVE to stick with the DK universe after this then I beg of them to make a sequel to DK64.

I gotta take umbrage at the amount of different fonts in that title card. Have 2 at the most, 4 looks like a damn mess...wait why do I care about this?

Looks alright but the soundtrack is a little weak.

This looks pretty great. Good enough that it's winning out over my feelings that Nintendo can suck a butt for thinking Cranky Kong is a reveal worth building any amount of hype over. Seriously that's your announcement? Really? Alright I'm getting annoyed again, eff this game. (not really)

Give me brick-tooth Donkey Kong from the 80s over ugly-ass DK in a tie and all his inbred family. Hate the way DK looks and the way he moves.

Nobody cares when they do. Which is funny because they do it all the time. And really nobody gives a shit. Then they put new ideas into established franchises and everybody just goes "another one of those again" which is just crazy to me. But oh well, keep pretending they never do anything new lol.

Sorry, not fucking buying this argument. When was the last time they put a lot of development resources into a new franchise that's not a technical showpiece for one of their consoles (Wii Sports/Nintendoland)? What would happen if they let Retro make whatever they wanted instead of chaining them to the Donkey Kong franchise?

We'll probably never know.
