This trailer is even better than the last one and I didn't think that was possible!

it also probably swayed me to getting the game for PC

Jeff, super curious what your verdict is. I gues 4 or 5 stars..

Tomorrow morning i will get the songbird edition from my local (dedicated)gameshop.

All the reassurance in that trailer is troubling.

$200 mil would put it around SWTOR money wouldn't it?

I can't wait for this! I just preloaded it on steam (which is an awesome feature btw) and I really can't wait to play it!

yeah i don't know if 2k even has that kind of money to throw at one game, no matter how big.

Imma be real with you guys. I expect the triumphant return of video reviews for this one. Anything less will disappoint me since we already know the game is getting 5 stars.

Its funny that Dishonored did more to sell me on Bioshock Infinite than any of these trailers.

Man I hope they make a sequel to Dishonored.

proberly after pax.

I'll be glad when the game finally comes out and people play it, so I can stop seeing people say this game is shit before having played it or that you shouldn't be excited because there's too much hype that it can't deliver on, or whatever BS. Honestly, can we all as a collective enthusiast crowd just be excited for a game without being a cynical, elitist asshole.

Just to be clear, I'm not calling anyone out here. I'm just referring to Assholes across the Internet.

Oh, I didn't mention that the trailer made me impossibly excited. These next couple days until I get the game are gonna be hard.

I'll skip this video. I've been on a strict media blackout ever since I watched the first trailer. Why break it 3 hours before the game unlocks on Steam?

I wish they showed more of the story and themes of this game and less "HOLY SHIT GUNS AND EXPLOSIONS AND WE HIRED MICHAEL BAY TO DO OUR TRAILER WAAAAH".

Why spoil the best parts?

stoked~

@bd_mr_bubbles:

Exactly.

Honestly, I wish they showed none of the story. Couple of shots, couple of 1 min videos and that's it!

Right now it feels like I've already went through half the game.

Kick ass tune!

Should I pick this up tonight at midnight and risk being late for work tomorrow, or wait till after work tomorrow at 6PM, American time. @winternet, got any ideas?

15 Gig freakin preload on Steam. I bet the textures are gonna be unreal!

@jesterpc238: TT I had that precise reaction in re if this was anyone but Sessler. That was quite honestly the most effusive review I've ever witnessed. Eloquent and precisely articulated, as you'd expect from the man, but goddamn if I didn't almost burst out laughing a couple times when we got a brief respite via his patented earnest eyes before the lavishing began anew. But hey, I generally share his exact tastes, and Infinite seems to revolve exclusively around stuff that fascinates me, so I'm willing to buy in.

Looks like they're using the old version of Elizabeth in a couple parts of that trailer. Either that or she gets a dramatic makeover during the course of the story.

i'm only aware of the skeletal framework, and that's passing at best.

i MAY have gotten spoiled on the ending (thank you youtube), but it's such a general spoiler if it is one that it doesn't make much of a difference to me.

jeff's latest tweet about it is also fucking encouraging as fuck. it's nice to know that even him (jaded as he is) can be moved/wowed by it.

If nothing else, I can thank this game for introducing the awesomeness that is Nico Vega to me

trailer gave me goosebumps. Definitely taking a day off to play this.

@dooftastic: You talking about the long hair to short hair thing? I'm guessing she gets a haircut as part of her physical and metaphorical escape.

PRELOADED AND READY TO ROCK

Talk about insecurity.. This isn't a launch trailer it's a slideshow of internet review headers about your game.

I wouldn't call it insecurity. A lot of the top review outlets have nothing but praise for this game, it could've gone differently. I think it's alright for them to boast a little bit.

Elizabeth's character animation is so great!

@jackel2072 @gardenstateapologist After 4 hours with the game I totally agree with Sess so far. Transcendent piece of media. It's every bit as powerful as Bioshock, but instead of feeling like the combat is a thing to have to deal with to see the story I actually look forward to it. Aside from Half-Life 2, I can't think of another shooter that has held me in its thrall quite like this one has.

Only nitpick that I have so far is that I like Andrew Ryan better than Zachary Comstock. It isn't that Comstock is a bad character, quite the contrary, but I don't think it'll be possible to craft a villain that is at once as charming and menacing as Ryan.
