Here's a Look at Titanfall's 'Expedition' DLC

I just hope that they continue the engrossing storyline of Titanfall with 'Expedition'. I am really dying to find out what happens to What's-his-face and Who's-that-guy-again.

Titanfall is a solid game. Granted im not gonna pay 15 bucks for maps, thats just silly. Still a great game.

The game stands well enough on its own without one and I for one can't wait for these maps, I love forest maps :)

Besides the forest map, I wouldn't have been able to tell if the other maps were DLC or not...

Seeing the simulation tileset really just makes me yearn for a good Tron game.

3 maps...for I'm guessing 15 bucks? yeah....no.

The map pack is $9.99, so its comes out to a little over three bucks a map. I'll bite since my buddy and I have played this game almost every night since launch. Playing online with people you know really increases the fun of the game.

Don't play it daily but I still go back to this frequently. One of the few games I'm willing to buy maps for.

Living in Australia, i've tried 5x to get a game in campaign mode... it just sits waiting for 20+ minutes only ever managing 2-3people.

Eh, I played a couple matches the other day, and while still fun, didn't really feel the drive that I had the first week...OH FUCK, TREES! SOLD!

You want to play a game, you go to Attrition, you want to play a game mode that isn't Attrition, you go to Variety Pack. I just really hope that they just unlock all the chassis for all players, not being able to use a chassis in a loadout apart from Atlas just because I wasn't part of the release day blitz when people were actually playing the campaign mode is ridiculous.
That being said, I find Titanfall to be a solid multiplayer game (and I dislike CoDs MP), shame that PC Australian numbers aren't so great, even with dedicated Australian servers (Either that, or literally almost everyone is just playing Attrition).

What's with this trend of British actors and voice over artists being used to make a game/movie sound more 'Oxford', lol.

I wish they got more Australians with that thick accent to do voice overs.

I played Titanfall for the first time yesterday (got it cheap on PC) and I had much more fun than I expected. I haven't played a multiplayer FPS since the original Counterstrike mod in 1999/2000. And even considering that, and that I played with a controller on the PC (to save my mouse arm some pain), I did all right. I'm impressed by the game.

It remains to be seen if I remain impressed enough to get the DLC, but it's not impossible.

Considering how awful the game performs on the bigger more open greeny outdoor maps, this is kind of amusing.

this game seems like it has a good framework... tight controls, good sequel to COD... but the game felt like a fleshed out demo. One sniper rifle. one machine gun.... no real customization of your character or titan. I was pretty disappointed in how bare bones the game feels and it will make me wait a few months after the "release hype" dies down on the sequel to this.

Looks like a good shooter. But I'm just not into the setting. Call me crazy, but I'd rather shoot soldiers, drive tanks and pilot jet fighters i.e play battlefield.

A lot of snark on here, that's all fine, most of it is pretty funny. But Respawn deserves a lot of credit for their attempt on continuing to balance the game and serve the community. I look forward to this and future expansions.

Pumped for new maps. £8 for 3 maps is fine by me. I know I'm going to fuck up so many wall runs on those trees though.

About the best thing that I can say about Titanfall is that I have fun every time I play, even if I am getting stomped. Not sure I play enough that I need new maps but whats a couple dollars.

The player numbers dropped everywhere not just in Australia, it really offers nothing to keep the players busy for a long haul.

I'd love to play Titanfall but there's no way I'm setting aside 50 gigs AND paying 60 bucks for a multiplayer only FPS. Enjoyed the beta though.

I feel that there's unnecessary hate for this game. The same people complaining about this game are people who expected it to be this shooter that was going to revolutionize things. Its unfair to expect such a thing. Whether its worth the price is debatable but its a solid game and a really enjoyable experience that deserves recognition for the changes its trying to implement on the genre. Sure it may be a smaller influence than people expected but to be honest at this point if you're looking for a pure overhaul with innovation in the FPS space you're probably going to have to wait a while. I think the genre needs to go away for a bit. Not totally but maybe the big AAA devs should try something new and let the indie scene do something interesting with it e.g. superhot and probably others...im lazy. I think the genre is going to find it hard to compete at a AAA level anyway. Still its an awesome game.

I played the shit out of the beta and consequently not too much of the full game. New set of maps will get me back in.
