I obviously just made that up, but it wouldn't really surprise me one bit.

I wonder where they got the dragon for this shoot? did they just take some of his dragon gold so he would fly down all pissed off? I bet as soon as they yelled cut they threw the gold at him and ran away.

Everyone knows the best part of Daggerfall was that opening cinematic, so I'm totally okay with this. Wavy Tube Man, Pt. II, as done by Bethesda.

Neat trailer. There are a ton of actual gameplay videos out there. Personally, I find it nice to have something different to watch from time-to-time. This is may just be my most anticipated title this year, but boy is this a crowded year for good games.

That's a cool trailer, some people won't have a clue what this is - even once the logo splashes. "Skyrim, is that some new direct-to-DVD film?"

But holy cats, how much do you guys think this cost?

I would have loved it if this were more representative of gameplay and it were just a guy finishing a conversation with someone, stabbing the hell out of them, jumping up to a roof, shooting all the guards with arrows, then reloading the trailer back to the conversation and just walking out of town.

That guy has the right idea of looking like a badass.

I was totally hoping for someone running around a woodlot with a cardboard sword and throwing bits of paper while shouting "Lightning Bolt! Lightning Bolt!"

I liked the Dragon roar, it sounded different but they didn't linger on the shot long enough.

That was pretty sweet.

In this they run away screaming, the guards resort to cowardice and everyone but the Dovahkiin runs away.

What will happen, all the civilians will go in bare knuckles, the guards will run in with shitty axes and everyone will die except for the Dovahkiin...

Cool little trailer. Wish the Dohvakin dude looked more amped up. Magic dragon powers or no, I think anyone would be feeling the adrenaline if they were about to fight a dragon.

i guess this is for the people that dont take anything seriously unless it's "FOR REALZ".  seriously i dont get why bethesda would spend a bunch of money for a live action trailer for a video game.  just show footage!

They must have spent some serious money on this trailer. I hope it pays off for them.

This was surprisingly not that great. Which blows my opportunity for a joke about how this is actually the opening of the new SSX.

If the helmet and the logo at the end weren't there to spark recognition I'd say I was watching an episode of Game of Thrones.

I completely agree. There are a lot of game buyers that aren't hardcore gamers. They don't read reviews. They buy games off shelves based on covert art / description and/or commercials. These people keep the industry alive, even if they are the ones who buy the crappy games. They also buy the great games. This trailer would fit perfectly before a fantasy action movie.

Gee, it's a really good thing that dragon just screamed instead of breathing fire there at the end. Come on, Bethesda, what the hell was this supposed to achieve? Just show us the damn game, it's the part we care about.

What is with all the idiots going, "I have live-action and CG trailers. The game won't look like that! We want to see gameplay!!"?

There's been several videos of gameplay of Skyrim shown. This is just something else to get people excited for the game. Stop being such twats.

The CGI or animated dragon at the end just undoes everything, other than that it is a pretty cool trailer. I would have personally gone with a shadow of the dragon as it would have been much more ominous and it would not have taken the viewer out of the trailer with the entrance of the very unrealistic looking dragon.

Anyone else notibe the "Inception" style BWAAAARMs when the hero appeared?
