First impression; this doesn't really impress me. Then again... this showed very little.

I've seen similar concepts in short Flash games plenty of times. It's clever, but wears thin very quickly. I'm cautiously optimistic.

Looks interesting... If it was Idle Thoughts by Jack Handy I would be psyched.

Looks way less interesting that the descriptions of it made it seem. Thought you'd actually make objects out of the thoughts, not just drag around the actual words.

So either this game is gonna be really uninteresting, or whoever is in charge of trailers for this game is seriously fucking up his job.

It feels creepy how much Patrick uses his own name in decks.

That was short enough to get the gist, but not enough to really make me want to give them money. At least not yet, anyway.

The premise is definitely interesting, but let's hope the developers get very creative with what the words do. This could get boring really fast if not executed properly.

For now Mental Drift is on my list. Yeah, I'm one of those guys who likes indie puzzle platformers.

I teared up a little watching that. It's just so moving, ya' know?

Not a very effective trailer. There was almost no information in it at all and not enough of a hook to have me caring about it, yet.

As for the game, I hope it's better than this trailer showed. It has an intriguing concept, but how much control do you have over these idle thoughts? I mean in any situation does the answer just present itself after a few moments? Is the game going to be one big waiting game? Are you going to have to juggle the wrong thoughts against the right ones?

Is it just a matter of jumping on words or can you use them as weapons? For all we know he thinks about how he'd love to crush an enemy with his thoughts, then you drag the word over and smash the enemy, which would be novel, but would wear off quickly as well.

I hope this blows us all away when it finally comes out.

If this was more like a Typing of the Dead kind of platformer, maybe.

Extremely boring and lifeless trailer. I respect the core idea, however when you make a trailer - you show the game's best hand, not something you would find in a tutorial outlining the most basic of mechanics.

Gamers will watch the trailer, say to themselves "that's it?" and then rapidly lose interest. Some of them won't even return.

What the creator should have done is show a hugely complex mid-game moment.

Maybe not the most interesting trailer, but I'm cautiously optimistic. Brad Muir introduced me to the devs at PAX, and they have a pretty kickass business card!

I can tell you guys that this game is AMAZING. Seriously give it a chance, this was one of my favorite games at PAX.

That seems like the kind of one-off thing someone would do as a joke in a self-aware game, like for one level. You chuckle and go 'yeah, that's funny' but you're happy to get back to the parts of substance when they've finished with it.

There's got to be more to this. More trailers on the way, maybe? If that's it, I am completely baffled.
