InFamous 2 Gameplay Boogaloo

It looked pretty sweet (and I'm officially finally getting a PS3 tomorrow!!!!) but dude, that voice actor is really annoying (Cole's) is it the same dude as the first game?

Game looks awesome but i'm sorry, this ain't Cole.

Melee combat will add much needed variety to the gameplay. If it was all still 'i'ma stand here and pew pew my lightning' it would be boring as fuck.

Looks great, but like everyone else - the "new Cole" is just so different, he really isn't Cole at all. Here's hoping this is somehow remedied, but I sincerely doubt they will because it could potentially be an unfortunate (and largely unnecessary) blemish on what could be a great game. True that ultimately it wouldn't matter, however it will be something that people are left with after playing the game that just doesn't need to be there as a "problem".

Looks like they added foes and gameplay from Prototype.

 I kid, of course. This all looks awesome -- except Cole. He looks like one of the Backstreet Boys.

The animation looks SO much cleaner in this game than in inFamous 2, and the scripted stuff looks great. inFamous 2 just went to the top of my list for "Most Anticipated in 2011"

Oh don't tell me those guys at the beginning aren't supposed to remind us of Mercer!
 
But yeah, it looks great. The movement seems much quicker and smoother than the first one.

Gameplay looks sweet... but am i the only one bummed out by the new voice acting of cole... The original voice wasn't the greatest, sounded a bit to much like solid snake, but stil.  
  
Plus the new Cole looks like something out of a cheap japaneese game....

Find it hard to believe that this footage was recorded from the game running on a PS3.

whaaaaaaat!?!?! that looked amazing! but was it all really ingame? the animation when he gets hit by the chopper missiles and gets up looks strange.
 
in any case looks like even more fun than infamous 1. but new cole looks and sounds pretty young, which sin't necessarily good or bad but it's certainly weird to see.

It's almost as if Infamous is doing an inverse Prince of Persia Trilogy character arc.

inFAMOUS was one of the best fun rides I had in the past few years. This looks even better.

Wow.  This looks to be almost a big a leap in quality as from Uncharted 1 to 2.  Don't get me wrong, Uncharted 1 and Infamous 1 were both great games, but this just looks amazing.

Living in the future is awesome.

While the gameplay looks great, I still can't get used to the new Cole. There should be a rule against, you know, redesigning a character from the ground up and making him look nothing like the original. I hope Sucker Punch reverts back to the old design.

I didn't play the first InFamous, but uh... that dude sounds bad, and he's got the worst '95 pseudo-urban hipster style that I've probably ever seen. He makes the outfits in Hackers look good by today's standards.

I didn't think inFamous was that good.  This looks pretty awesome though.

Everything looks great EXCEPT Cole.  He sounds and looks like an idiot.

LOVE IT! Love new look, everything. It seems they are pulling "uncharted 2" on this one. Making solid game into freaking awesome GOTY material. Cant wait. Sony has great year so far and rest of 2010 when it comes to exclusives, but next year seem to be just as awesome, if not (probably)better. Infamous 2, Killzone 2, Motorstorm 3, Uncharted 3(most likely), maybe Demon Souls2, Resistance 3 and probably few more that i cant remember, plus there must be some surprises sony style. Great stuff.
