I was about to close the browser window at the 3:18 mark, but then I realized that this is a fucking Metal Gear trailer.  There's going to be more trailer after the trailer.

Best trailer yet for this game. It's amazing what a good trailer can do to me. I now want to play this, haha.

@Pepeman: Don't worry, I know what you mean. Every Metal Gear game is crazy in it's own special way, but the overlying theme (as cool as it still can be at times) is still just a bunch of fuckin' nonsense.

I will give you that the first Metal Gear Solid was comparatively and in context, the least weird and insane nonsense of the entire bunch. Comparatively and in context.

This is a particular kind of dumb I'm totally okay with.

And... that's kind of why I want to play this game. Hideo Kojima is the master of fuckin' nonsense, and having Platinum Games, the producers of the best fuckin' nonsense in the last 5 or so years work on this, I am ready for the awesome stupidity that is Revengance.

You know what, you are both right. MGS games have been always nonsense, but this feel sor ot different kinda of nonsense .. to me at least. Or maybe im just getting older..

I trust in Platinum as much as anyone but this trailer is not very good. Though it does remind me, I bought Vanquish on clearance and have yet to play it...

Isn't this non-canon to the MGS series? Either way, this game doesn't really look good to me anymore. Also, I swear we've seen this same trailer, or something very close to it.

I keep bouncing between "meh" and "hell yeah" for this. I loved MGS and this looks nuts, but I'm not a Raiden fan... Robo Puppy is pretty sweet though.

Platinum Games is developing this game. Platinum Games has not disappointed this gen. Unless something goes terribly wrong, I think we can all feel safe that this game is in the right hands.

Only the last minute is new, but man, it was worth watching the other stuff again for it. A new version of Crying Wolf? Nice.

Is it just me or are all of these trailers mostly identical? Everything looks really familiar. Either that or I've had been having some really messed up dreams.

The consensus on this game is basically "Looks batshit crazy. I can't fucking wait."

I'm a huge MGS fan but this doesn't look too appealing to me. Not because it looks so crazy, just because it looks like it's lacking a great deal of polish. I guess it mostly comes down to how well it plays.

That being said, I realized just how effective that whole cut to logo/credits with voice over really is. It makes everything seem more important, even silly dialogue.

This is crazy and weird like games used to be. Man.

Nothing in this trailer makes sense to me, but I'm okay with that.

I will buy anything with Metal Gear slapped on the box, because I'm a fan (read: sucker) like that.
