More of the same. Looks like COD:BO and MW2. Meh. No more $15 map packs. No more console-centric design. No thanks.

Looks good, glad I skipped out on buying Black Ops so I can actually get excited about this.

I would bitch about this looking exactly the same as Modern Warfare 2, but it's pointless. My friends are going to buy it, so I'm going to buy it in order to play with them, and then I'll enjoy it but say I think I've had enough after this installment... and thus the cycle begins anew.

This looks almost exactly like MW2. Surprised they didn't give the UI a big overhaul just so it was slightly different

I really really like cod. And i've enjoyed black ops a huge amount. But this...i dunno. I dont wanna join the "wahh wahh lets hate cod" train, but i just dont want mw3 to be the same high powered explosion fest as mw2. When i watched that trailer, as cool as seeing a helicopter blowing a billion things up from the sky is. Much experience has taught me that when on the ground these things are nicht fun!

It's not that it doesn't look good, it's just that it looks the same.

Yup. Looks like a Modern Warfare. Will probably be fun.

This looks pretty cool. Seems like that hoard mode is what I will be playing for a long time.

Hopefully the PC version is competent unlike B.O on day one (I haven't played B.O on PC but I heard the port was a bit of a mess.)

I don't know if it's just the video but the weapon sounds pretty bad when compared to BF3. It sounds like they are shooting BB gun.

GET EXCITED PEOPLE, SOON YOU WILL HAVE MW3, THE..the same game you've been playing since the 2007 release of modern warfare, with subtle tweaks and weapons, jeez you could've just have released multiplayer downloadable content every so often and you'll probly have more innovation than these games have been getting. multiplayer is what everyone plays anyways. oh and oh-yay, they added horde mode, people like that right!?

I totally agree with him, what the fuck is wrong with people, and how is this in any way acceptable!? people thinks it's cool and shit because it's in their favorite game, is that what you're marketing to!? sociopa...oh wait, I forgot about the online gamechat. that's fucked up though, they should remove it from the game entirely, because I'd accept it if it depicted the horrors of it, not when it's a fucking perk or a weapon or whatever

Really? You could kill the dogs in W@W and BLOPS. Hell you can kill dogs in Fallout too.

Also have you seen this game, it's fucking nuts, and dogs with C4 attached to them is fucking nuts.

The hand-off between action and reward is precise and beautiful, so while Infinity Ward (or what is left of it) isn't moving games forward, they'll always be a day-one purchase. They aren't of the Jonathan Blow or That Game Company movement, but they know how to trigger endogenous morphine. That next-level guitar riff never fails to make me grin. Because it's important to games as a media? Because it just feels right. It's like candy. As you mature, you learn its proper place in the nutrition pyramid. But you never totally forsake that one childhood favorite...

This looks way too much like MW2. And I have a sneaking suspicion that they won't solve any of the major plot conflicts from MW2 in the story mode.

Same here. I loved the Spec Ops mode in MW2, and this will be the perfect addition to that. With that said I think I will past on this game and get it used at some point. It just doesn't seem that interesting.

You... do know that suicide dogs are an actual thing, right? I mean the anti-tank dogs in WWII were a dismal failure but it's way easier to train a dog to just run up to a person, plus they don't lose a soldier with every bomb.

This better have matchmaking... Firefight in Halo ODST was made useless to me as I didn't have anyone on my friends list playing it and this would likely end up the same way.

Love survival modes though. If I end up getting this, I can see myself playing that a lot.

Ridiculous? Hell yeah.

But that's just them understanding their audience. People interested in this are not interested in driving in the desert for 20 minutes just because the developers figured out how to render sand.

I don't understand why they still keep using white X-es when you shoot someone: in daytime maps you barely notice them and in nighttime, when the silhouettes and everything is dark,  it covers them and you can't see what's going on from distance. Make them red like in the latest shooters or, better, give the option of changing the color. Just don't make it the same color as the subtitles, mission text or mission titles or other indicators, because it's dull.

Also, I wish they'll make specific custom attachments for each and every weapon, rather than having the same red dot sight for every SMG or rifle.
