I don't play the Lego games but I also don't mind that they exist. Overall, they seem to be pretty good from what I hear. This looks like it could be good, especially for kids who love those movies. I stopped watching after the first one.

Same here, but I thought this game would be especially ripe for one.  I mean they did Star Wars, Comics, Action Heroes, and now Pirates! 
 
I personally cannot wait.  I didn't play the 2 Indy games yet, but I did play both Star Wars and then the Batman one and really enjoyed both of them.  I was hoping that they would both come on a disc for like 20 bucks on the Playstation 3/Xbox360 or Wii and then pick that one up.   
 
[EDIT] Ohh, Summer 2011, that looks like it will be a great summer game to play casually on my PSP or something.

Coming from a huge huge fan of the series, the music in all three was quite similar in tone, so they could have licensed any one movie and it would have the distinct Pirates of the Caribbean feel.

I really wouldn't mind all these lego games being released, I wouldn't even care that that they're always all the same game... what gripes me is that they're unfunny, glitchy messes with unintuitive, boring gameplay. I can only imagine TT games rubbing their paws, knowing they can maintain such quality because kids are pretty dumb :/. I mean, they effed up a Rock Band game! How do you do that?!

Jack Sparrow should be voiced by Johnny Depp. Other than that, whilst I'm not looking very excited for it, I know plenty of friends who will be.

Same here. Sure they all play pretty much the same, but... That's not a bad thing to me. They're fun. Especially Star Wars and Batman. Love those two.

They can only make games based on actual Lego properties.  Star Wars, Batman, Indy, etc, all have actual Lego sets you can buy..  Don't expect anything else to be made into a game, most of the things people are suggesting have a 0% chance of happening.

They're releasing in June, leaked pictures have been floating around Lego sites for a while now and I believe they were only official revealed this morning, along with the trailer for the game  :)

I never thought I would like the Lego games, but turns out they are a lot of fun. Especially if you are playing with someone. I've played through LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga,the first Indiana Jones, and I bought LEGO Batman recently. Probably going to buy the second Indiana Jones game and maybe even this one. Speaking of which I wonder if they are going to make a new LEGO Racers anytime soon. :P
