Plants vs. Zombies vs. Gardens vs. Marketing Trailers

I can't tell if I think it looks good or not. Its kinda weird looking gameplay wise. Dunno how I feel about zombies shooting the plants

I don't want to like this game. But every time I see it I just smile and wish I could play.

That engineer zombie seems awfully familiar.

I love the idea of their PVZ mashup with Battlefield launching flawlessly yet their big budget next installment in BF proper flops hard on its face.

I'm down to give it a shot. Looks like a good time.

Fucking Chomper is OP as hell.

If only Chompers were half as useful in the original PvZ :/

Seems like they are basically building on Battlefield Heroes using the PvZ theme.

Gotham City Impostors reskin?

Everything about this seemed Battlefield Heroes to me. Even down to the cutesy sound effects. The engineer being exactly the TF2 engineer was kinda shady though. He builds turrets, to protect teleporters, then he upgrades them.

Looks like Conker's MP to me.

Prob something I would lose interest in real quick, but all in all it looks pretty good.

Going to preorder this tomorrow

Zombie butt-crack!

Looks allot like battlefield heroes they even use the same sound assets.

PvZ2 looked pretty good as well, but I'll reserve my judgement until I see what the price/microtransactions are.

It looks pretty, but beyond that, it's a mix of every team based 3rd person multiplayer shooter that exists. I don't care, even a little. After all, why would I buy a plants v. zombie version of games I already own and have been playing for the past 10 years.

Why doesn't this look terrible?

Reskin of previous MP titles. Looks good though, but since it'll be tied in with Origin I'll take a pass.

Reminder that Microsoft paid many many millions to get this as a "timed exclusive" ie "keep it away from Sony".

It's already confirmed for PC. It is Origin-exclusive, unsurprisingly. $30, date just says 'Spring 2014' so it'll definitely be exclusive to Xbone and 360 for several months, though.

That's good to know, I guess by then we'll know if it's worth picking up.

I actually would've preferred if this was free-to-play. I'd give it a shot for a couple days if it was, but I ain't paying for this.

Looks fun, but PvZ2 has left a very sour aftertaste.

I was more interested in this when after e3 when I thought it was a coop horde mode with classes game like the Mass Effect 3 multiplayer.

In a way the micro transactions were bad for EA because there's no reason to spend anything to play the whole game.

I'll be skipping the reviews on this one. I can't help it, I'm a Pv.Z addict. Instant buy. Can't come soon enough.

The animations are really great to look at. The engine might as well be from tf2. The crack makes that character unplayable in the slight annoyance I would feel the whole time.
