That was fucking amazing I wish I could have seen it live. I don't use any social media sites myself but the fact that they were able to get to that part, edit it and upload it that quick is probably the best way you could have shown off that feature.

I'm amazed that Madden moment hasn't gone viral yet.

As far as EA's concerned...

I think the most amusing thing of this whole livestream (aside from the Madden moment, of course) was that, at one point or another, basically everyone either made a joke at Brad's expense or made some sort of exaggerated look of frustration into the camera because of something he was saying or doing, and he always seemed totally oblivious.

Chicken or egg: does Drew sit perfectly upright to fit in the frame or was that frame set up to lord Drew's perfect posture over all of us hunch-backed troglodytes?

I noticed a second race change moment just at the start of the coolers moment, the dude with the helmet changes race.

Do buy Blu-rays, if you care about how things look and sound - streaming services are terrible.

Don't play Blu-rays on stand-alone hardware - use a PC to bypass all the menus/ad nonsense.

Real sad at how much they seem to dislike Super Motherload. Basically the only "next-gen" game I've been looking forward to. I felt similarly at the disdain with which they all played Spelunky during the 24-hour broadcast too.

Uniforms featuring mostly ads is something that really thwarts any sort of credibility that soccer has for me. I definitely get having sponsors and whatnot, but they are the bulk of the uniforms and basically makes teams look like brand extensions of airlines and the like, it's rather ridiculous.

Aside from that, I'm totally with Jeff on the time issue with soccer. It's super weird.

I'm pretty sure it's the same texture; just the post-processing effects are loading in too late. If you've ever seen pre-lit, pre-shaded models you'd notice most things tend to shift from being extremely bright and ugly to a darker, better-looking shaded look. A quick example I can think of is Dragon Age, when you switch between 'low' and 'high' settings on the PC, notably toggling the post-processing.

They both have their problems with advertisements and sponsors, but the delivery is obviously very different. I've been watching both sports for years, but I find myself watching soccer more and football less as time goes on. Can't say I like my team having a big insurance ad on their kit, but I like watching 45 minutes of commercials, during one game, even less.

Is it just me or is FIFA on PS4 really blurry?

This was the look of frustration Drew gave to the camera after arguing with Brad about something. I believe it's when they are editing the Madden video. Probably my favorite part of this whole thing.
