Am I the only one that actually prefers the relative simplicity of the regular Persona 4? I actually don't like the new Marie character or the additional crap they're constantly throwing at you. There's enough to wrap your head around as it is.

Also, changing Chie's voice was understandable, but the default battle music? C'mon!

Persona 4 is a special game. Not something that is easy to repeat.

Firebrand had his own game didn't he, there was a capcom game (snes) with a gargoyle in it. Megamanish, getting power ups from bosses. I assumed that's who he was. Might be wrong though. Probably am.

It's weird to see a game like Persona 4 looking sharper on a handheld system. Makes me want to watch the ER again. Feeling almost nostalgic about it.

Maybe I'll just watch Tokyo Drift instead.

I know this is a bit GB Taboo, but I hope this results in a Jeff/Dan Persona 5 ER. After all the Metal Gear nonsense that has been going on, seems like Dan needs something to put him in his place.

Also, GB VS. GBeast Persona 5 Endurance runs would be AMAZING!

I actually bought a PlayStation TV myself, and I've found myself to be mostly disappointed by it.

One thing that seems really strange is that NOT ALL PSP GAMES WORK. I was really baffled by it. I tried all of my PSP games, and found that Castlevania: The Dracula X Chronicles, Crush, and Gurumin definitely don't work. I admit, I'm not a programmer or anything and there's a definite chance that compatibility for these games is coming somewhere down the pipeline, but it just seems strange that it would have these issues.

Also, as of right now, video streaming apps are extremely limited. YouTube, Hulu Plus, and Netflix do not work right now. Again, I have to assume compatibility is coming soon, but right now there's nothing there.

I've also seen some weird problems with both the DualShock 3 and DualShock 4 controllers connecting to PSTV, possibly due to the other wireless keyboards and devices I have lying around; I don't know. When I connected with a USB, there was no problems, but there was some definite lag and the sticks seemed to go much further in a given direction than intended.

On the plus side, using a DualShock 4 with the system has been very nice. The touchpad can be used in place of touchscreen input on several games, though in something like Hotline Miami it often feels awkward.

Also, taking the memory card out of PS Vita and popping it into the PSTV works pretty well, although if you like to keep organized with your games, it's a bit of a nightmare to navigate.

So, not off to a great start. If you own a PS Vita already, there's probably no reason to get this system. I've been using it to play on my friend's TV at his place, and it simply isn't worth it just to show off echochrome.

I'm considering selling it off, but I don't know if I should wait some more improvements. I just don't see much promise in it.

New costumes and stuff during battle was alright, and I like the new battle music, but the addition of Marie was a deal breaker.

I do love the idea of a social link with Adachi though.

Also, I should buy one of these things and P4 Golden, shouldn't I? But I'm not going to, and I'm going to use the change in Chie's voice as my reasoning until the end of time.

Then again, I do have a bunch of free Vita games from PS+, and some of them must work with this thing. Only a hundo bucks...but that's like a game and a half at full price, and I'd rather that.

I just got all sad from seeing Wake Up Club. This is not what I expected from this morning.

I'm not sure Dan has realized the PlayStation TV is meant primarily for people who don't already own a Vita, but want to play Vita games on a tv.

Also, watching Jeff re-play Persona 4 is fantastic, I'd watch another 100 hours of him revel in memories and getting surprised by the new stuff in Golden.

Dan deciding to do his own Endurance Run like 4-5 years after the original would be kind of amazing, especially considering his disdain for "anime bullshit".

Maybe I'm crazy, but I'm playing through Golden Abyss right now and I think it's fun as shit. It could be that I'm just impressed that I'm able to play Uncharted in between breaks at work, but I think it's a lot better than they make it out to be. Some of the touch screen stuff got a bit annoying though.

That aside, this thing looks pretty cool Don't think I'll get one, but it seems like an interesting thing

Guys, if my PS4 is on wifi but the PSTV is on a wired connection, is that theoretically a good setup?

Or should both be on wired connections in order to be decently useable?

I live in Georgia. QT is truth. They're everywhere here; I pass 3 or 4 of them on my drive to work.

Man, I had heard the performance of Borderlands 2 on the Vita was rough, but I thought a lot of that had been improved in a patch. But seeing it here, I can see any improvement that has been made is insufficient to give an especially satisfying experience. Still cool that it's playable (ish) on a portable, but hoo boy. And definitely not worth it on the PS TV itself. You can get a full blown PS3 for a little more if you really need Borderlands 2 on a TV though, I guess.

Quiktrips have the best gas station food.

Seeing Borderlands 2 run on the PSTV at that frame-rate actually started to make me a bit nauseous. Thats the first time that's ever happened to me. O_O

BTW to the guy saying that Netflix/Youtube don't work, it WILL get patched soon. Right now Netflix especially is touch-focused...they'll probably shift it to the PS3 UI then release a PS TV update for it soon.

Anyways I don't know who this is supposed to appeal to. Since it is only compatible with SOME Vita games, then it has an even thinner library then the Vita, which is already 6 feet under.

I don't count ports BTW. Why get this when you could play the game somewhere else at a better resolution/framerate?

Oh and there's NO Vita AAA titles in the pipeline....there's literally no incentive to buy a console with no future.
