Resident Evil 6 Is Getting a Siege Mode

I am not as much a fan boy (although I really love the RE games, as I guess you would with the Barry avatar) as a person who is really getting annoyed with smug know-it-alls and internett group "hate" towards the gaming industry.

Thats well and good but not the point. The point is that this is a press release and to write such things is unnecessary. To be honest its just rude and dishonest. I believe the phrase "poisoning the well" could be used as its not funny and only will appeal to people who like being smug and patronizing.

They would never do a game cube style remake of resident evil 2 or 3. On top of that, there's nothing "financially doomed" about the game series at all. Capcom sold over 4.5 million copies of resident evil 6. (by November 2012)

@Scotto: Fine. But I am a user and I am allowed to say I do not like stuff so that if they suddenly lose alot of users they can know why they did so. Because they were hateful complainers who not only ditched certain game franchises but also the fans of those franchises.

Never played a RE title before, why start now.

Even the fans say ew gross. Franchises blow unless you've been there for the first. I don't think I'll properly enjoy the mechanics of the old games either being babied with what's regular in new games.

RE6 was awesome, and possibly my pick for GOTY. Never tried the VS. modes, but this looks pretty interesting.

Resident Evil 6 was one of my favorite games of 2012 So I will be looking forward to this alongside the dragon's dogma dark arisen.

I always did find it weird that they'd develop the whole play-as-a-zoimbe/j'avo system and only use it in the limited (though entertaining) Agent Hunt mode. I guess they just couldn't finish a full-fledged versus multiplayer in time for release. Between this and the patch that let you jump directly into Agent Hunt-enabled levels, RE6's online might be worth a revisit...

I suggest people save their money for the port of RE:Revelations, at least that was an somewhat alright RE game.

Hm. I really liked RE6, but this doesn't look like something I'd buy. Unfortunately my brother's borrowing the game so I haven't played it since a few weeks before Christmas I believe, maybe even before. He hasn't really played it. I want to try out that free new DLC that has come.

@OriginalYellow: LOL I know not many people understand this but I really LOVE mercenary mode. It's so much fun!!

To anyone who's curious, yes, playing as zombies/zombie dogs is as crappy as it looks. It makes playing the game as the human characters feel like a dream by comparison.

I should point out that I didn't buy this DLC or anything, I'm just speaking from the 10 minutes i put into that Agent Hunt mode.
