Announcers are dumb. The game looks alright, but it's definitely Starcraft. That relation holds both good and bad things for the game. Oh well.

What?  Is that these guys' job, just to comment on multiplayer game matches?  At first I thought they were supposed to be the developers talking about their own game, but this reminds me of that lame-ass G4 show where they tried to make WATCHING people play games fun by having commentators.

I like the commentators, they at least make watching the vid entertaining. They are excited about what they are doing, and if video games as sports really wants to take off in more places than South Korea, this is the kind of thing thats needed.

The protoss seem kinda of overpowered

Having just got Starcraft a few weeks ago, I like the game but haven't realised it was this tactical. To be honest, I am looking forward to getting SC2.

Man, you people complain too much about the announcers.  I didn't have a problem with them.  Anyone who's never played any SC before are getting useful tips before the game comes out, so just chill out, folks.

I liked the sportscaster style announcing! This game looks fantastic. too bad we will have to buy it three times to get it all.... thats such BS!

I was never a Starcraft multiplayer fan, really. The only piece of this game I'm looking forward to is the single player portion.

As someone who doesn't play Starcraft, I enjoyed that whole video and feel like I learned a lot.

Haha I love how people are flipping out about the announcers. That kind of stuff is on Korean TV all the time.

That was a pretty decent game, I really look forward to SC2, though I thought the marauder unit lacked personality.

good good, looks good, looks like the multi matches will be back and forth, for a while there i thought the protoss were going to manhandle , but the terrans brought it back. I liked the commentators, gave the video more flavor and insight then just showing a straight multiplayer vid.

As someone who can't micro worth shit, they could release the game now and I wouldn't know the difference between alpha and release. I don't know if I'll be picking this one up and by one I guess I mean three.

Also, needs more siege tanks. My Terran strategy always involves clumps of seige-mode siege tanks.

I have no problem with the 3-way release plan. Blizzard always makes a full-fledged expansion to their games, so for multiplayer purposes, this is equivalent to having two expansions.

For single-player, this means three full-length campaigns. You buy three games, and get three games.

All-in-all, not a bad deal.

Starcraft isn't really a game any more.  Every move is so methodical and over-analyzed (as confirmed by the commentary) that it is more like work than fun.  It is definitely a beautiful product, but one I won't be "playing".

Looks like fun and I thought the announcers were fine for the most part. It's hard to make a RTS match look exciting after all.

Like any good game, the first several hours will be work, but then afterwards it will be fun.

I want to fucking rip my ears out listening to these guys.
