Wow, a gameplay video that's actually captured from a PC and not from a herky-jerky gamepad controlled console. Nice to be able to watch a first person video without feeling sick.

That looked really, really good. But I'm still saying meh.

The 60 frames-per-second thing they're doing in this complete version is a turnoff, like a movie running in 60 fps. Unless I'm mistaken, it looked like the fragmented videos were running in 30, and it did the game a favor and made it look realer. The high framerate in this video draws attention to the fact that it's a game. 

Nitpick: Your squadmates don't have any optics on thier weapons. Nor do they have BUIS (Back-Up Iron Sights) of any kind. How are they supposed to accurately and effectively fire on their targets?

Also, pulling the charging handle on the M4 carbine isn't necessarily an incorrect way to release the bolt after loading a fresh magazine in to the weapon but is not recommended. This is called "Slingshotting" (Why Snake  does it so much in MGS4 confuses me too).

The graphics and animations look pretty damn good. Single player looks heavily scripted and pretty standard for the genre, if not at the top of it's class.

The "smoothness" of the video is probably because the video is 60 fps vs the usual 30 fps. Game definitely looks good though. I hope the campaign is actually worthwhile since previous Battlefield games have always had poor single player campaigns.

I was sort of hoping the next crop of modern-day war shooters would take a bit of inspiration from The Hurt Locker. This looks pretty much the same as COD4 with some BC2 mixed in.

Which, you know, I love COD 4. But it would be nice to see a slightly more down-to-earth war shooter that doesn't follow the same old action movie beats. It could be really tense and immersive if done correctly.

I don't understand why these big multiplayer shooters need a singleplayer campaign. Is there really a sizeable amount of people out there who just buy them for the campaign?

Not really a fan of shooters, but It looks damn good.

How can some people be saying this looks crap?! It looks incredible! I'd like to take a guess here and say about 98% of the people saying this looks bad are Coddy Cainers...

2 things:

First of all, these are just the trailers we've already seen, strung together in an episodic fasion. Still awsome but - ya know, kinda been bumming that one for a long time already

Secondly - i really don't understand why people are saying the graphics in this look amazing and are calling it next gen shit. To me graphically, it looks about bang on where we should be with tech round about now. Nothing more. I mean Crysis 1 still looks kinda better than this if im not mistaken. If not then definatly par

FUCK I read this title and I thought the GB crew had got some hands on time with BF3.

Wow!  I am usually bored by modern military shooters these days (thank you COD), but that looks rather exciting.  This looks like this could be the shooter of the year.

Battlefield is king.

Looks very good so far. I can't wait for more information about the MP though. That will most likely be where I clock the most gaming time by far after all.

I don't know a whole lot but I know that that game looks amazing. Especially the textures.

Looking real Call of Duty like but it's the mutliplayer that matters.

Reading post about people being pissed about the scripted Single Player is getting old. More and more people are complaining that games lack story, but when a freaking studio puts in an AAA+ story in a title, they get all mad because its scripted.

Anyway, the game looks amazing and I am hoping I can afford to save up for a rig by then, but it doesn't look good.

Looks pretty intense. Can't wait!

Looks like this will be the FPS to beat this holiday season. The earthquake sequence in particular was just amazing. And although I haven't played a Battlefield game (or any game, really) since 2142 on my PC, this might be the one to make me upgrade. Can't wait to see them unveil the multiplayer
