I don't remember. Did you control vehicles in other Uncharted games or is this the first one?

Never played a Uncharted before so waiting out on the collection package, then hop on to 4.

@theshrubber: In the first one you can control a jet ski but i think you're manning the turret on all the cars.

As mentioned already you control a jet-ski on two separate occasions in Drake's Fortune. In Uncharted 3 you also ride a horse, though it was largely on rails.

That looks like an awesome sequence. Very little of that looks like actual skill based gameplay, but nonetheless it still looks really cool.

Brad wasn't wrong this looks like the most expensive game ever made.

Uncharted will always have a special place in my heart. The end of Drake's Fotune was the first-time I ever felt that I actually CARED about characters in a video game. Thinking about a re-release of the PS3 games on PS4 makes me really want to go back to them. I never finished Uncharted 3, and this fall seems to be a great time to correct that. Well, so long as the re-mastered collection comes out before Fallout 4.

I really wish Naughty Dog was making a new IP, but god damn are the Uncharted games are fun. This looks so good.

@ssully: Yeah I agree, new IP's are exciting and I wish there were more of them. But certain franchises never get old to me and Uncharted is at the top of that list. Definitely can't wait for this one to hit the shelves.

Wonder if you could get through that truck chase sequence without shooting the truck.

I had the knee-jerk cynical reaction to "hey another Uncharted with mostly the same characters" but boy does that look good.

Naughty Dog's Uncharted games were the main reason I bought a PS3. I'm mostly a PC gamer. Uncharted 4 and The Last Of Us may be the games that get me to buy a PS4. I wasn't too sure about this one, but this game play and footage looks amazing. It still has the Uncharted tropes, but the destructible environments seem to make it much more strategic.

Also leave it to Naughty Dog to put so much attention into every little detail. It's really impressive how just one room you run through in a second took a designer a ton of time to make it feel natural.

If the reviews for this are any good, I will pony up for a PS4.

This is the game that's finally going to get me to pick up a PS4.

Ya know...Uncharted 2 is one of my favorite games ever, and this game looks truly fantastic, and I think I will really enjoy it...but I just dont think we "needed" another Uncharted game. I don't know how to feel right now.

Anyway, I wonder what they're going to borrow from the Tomb Raider reboot--a game that I think had better gunplay than UC but was slightly inferior overall? Would weapon progression work in the Uncharted series? I think it could.

Looks like the dumbest of fun - and the funnest of dumb. I am fully ready for it.

They shown Drake climbing up some cliff sides using an axe that looked identical to the climbing in Tomb Raider, so they've taken note of that at least.

Also, while I understand a lot of the whole ''do we need another Uncharted'' and that this series feels a little long in the tooth (that is with Nathan Drake at the helm anywhoo), I'm personally happy this exists because it gives Uncharted a chance to bow out without having the series end on the completely meh Uncharted 3. That's not to say Uncharted 4 is assured to be better than Uncharted 3... but I have the utmost confidence in Druckmann & Straley.

Does this have like 3 minutes of Nathan just standing in the crowd at the start? If not I'm out.

That's Sam talking, voiced by his original actor, Todd Stashwick. Times (and the story) may have changed since then, especially since Hennig was theoretically still involved during the release of this trailer. But yeah, I wouldn't be surprised if Sam ends up becoming an antagonist.

That was really cool, but the only Uncharted game I tried was 3 and I hated it. TBH, I kinda wish this sorta game and talent were applied to a Mad Max game (yes, I'm aware of the Mad Max game, but I think Naughty Dog would've done a better job)

People say how we don't "need" more uncharted. Sure I don't "need" it, but I sure as hell want it. This looks fantastic.

I can't wait to see more of the dynamic and chemistry between Nolan North and Troy Baker.

People might groan at game re releases/HD collections, but my friends who gamed exclusively on 360 never got to play them and they are all excited for the Uncharted collection AND UC4.

It might just be wishful thinking but I played through the whole series just last summer and these enemies sure do seem far less bullet spongey than even The Last of Us, and they'd solved most of that stuff in that game I felt.

If its anything like the past games its relatively easy to miss timing on some things and either fuck up a jump or get shot too much etc. The sequences are never as straight forward as they look in ND's playthroughs because they've done them a million times and know exactly what to do. I bet even when they showed mistakes like nate driving the wrong way it was to show off the unique dialogue you get for doing so.
