I hope the frame rate is actually as good as it looks in this video, because that's pretty impressive. 
Say what you will about DOA's ridiculous characters, I always liked its fighting system and its quick pace; underneath the absurdity there is a surprisingly solid and dynamic fighting game that matches the best in its genre. 
 That said, I don't know how I feel about this whole select-a-combo thing they have going on. 
 
Oh and did I see Kasumi and Ayane reconciling their differences? I'd like that.

That one chick spun around with her legs open...but I didn't see anything. I'm not doing much in my life so I will just keep replaying it and will even start a thread when I think I do see something. ..Anything!
  
The best thing I ever saw about DOA, besides early true and honest gameplay, was that QL of DOA Island or such, not the last one but the one before.

I guess I'll have to wait to see the commercials in 3D to get why this is so awesome.  It's like x-files. "I want to believe..."

I like the DOA franchise because its a silly but fun button-mash fighter.  I like fighting games but don't have the patience to learn more than a few moves, so I usually wind up button-mashing my way through matches.  This looks pretty good for a handheld game and I like that you can pull off any move by swiping it with the stylus if you choose that option.  3DS is so far from my mind right now, but this is a title I'll have to remember when I do (eventually) pick one up.

I think that's the reason for the Dimensions subtitle... isn't it? Nothing to do with the 3D tech

@thenexus of course it  looks slow, because thats how doa plays. If you tried to play it to fast your going to get countered like a noob.

DoA on the move, Nice ;) Shame they're just rehashing CGI and levels from previous DoA games, But I can see why they did it. (Lack of Itagaki) The only thing that bothers me is the new character they've included seems like he belongs in a Tekken game (I always think of Heihachi when I see him) probably because he's emanating some kind of electrical/demonic energy.

From the looks of this, this looks like DOA 4 2.0.  If they add more stuff to differentiate it from DOA 4, then I will get it.
