I knew this was foing to be something stupid but a windows 8 exclusive top down shooter? Even I couldn't have predicated that.

Except the domain for Spartan Assault was registered last week so if this was created since then they would almost certainly have included the name after the domain registrations. Not saying the list is fake. Would be awesome if all that stuff showed up but notice that there doesn't seem to be a single Kinect game on the list except maybe Ryse. Now maybe Microsoft has learned its lesson and will actually focus on hardcore games at a hardcore gaming convention, but I won't hold my breath. We'll see, though. Would love for this to be true.

I don't get why everyone is being so uppity about this game. So what that it's an exclusive? It's Microsofts money going into paying for it, of course their platforms should benefit. You don't see Mario jumping around on other platform but this will probably come to iOS eventually anyway. At least you iOS guys have a wealth of games us WP8 owners can only dream of like The Room and Ridiculous Fishing.

Agreed. I love Halo, but the Xbox 360 is the only piece of Microsoft technology in my house. Full on Mac user with a computer, laptop, tablet, iPod... So I won't be playing this. It looks interesting, but not for 7 bucks on a platform I don't own. Port it to XBLA and we'll see. Dual sticks on a touch screen do not work. Swing and a miss.

Alright, that's enough. I'm gonna stop caring about Halo now. It had a really good run, I was honestly expecting this moment to come sometime close after Halo 3! But between the new trilogy and the TV thing and this and god knows whatever else they're gonna shove out there, I'm just gonna step back from the franchise, fondly remember the parts of it I used to care about and leave it at that. GG, Halo.

You know what, fuck all the haters, this looks awesome. Yeah, maybe it's because I'm a huge Halo fan but I'm also open minded. I don't know where or when people became such spoiled brats who are so cynical about anything and everything. It's getting impossible to read comments on anything anymore. I know the internet is full of a bunch of undeserving d bags, but this is getting crazy. So, they make another Halo FPS, people say they're milking the franchise. They try to create a cool, different game on different platforms, and people still bitch about the franchise. Is it because it's on Windows 8 and WP8? If so, your loss.

Who knows, this game might be shit, but don't go insane over one trailer.

I'm all for them trying something different with the franchise. It's a shame I don't have anything windows 8 to give it a try on.

My opinion on Halo is rather unusual in that I actually started really liking it at Halo 4. Being the most recent game, I'm at this point still very much into Halo. This looks pretty great for a phone. I have a Lumia 920.

I got WP8 primarily because I like the different look and feel of the OS itself, but also because I was promised Xbox phone games. There have been some that are pretty good, but not a lot.

So, I'm pretty excited for this.

She's my kazin. But dasn't she look, aalmost eggshact lee, lyke, Laurel Palmr.

Microsoft continuing to back an old tired horse (which admittedly they've got a lot of mileage out of...) doesn't fill me with confidence they have anything to offer me with the NextBoxOne. I'm out!

Palmer is pretty cool in my eyes, she is a cold calculated Spartan, that's how they're supposed to be. She's not likable, but she is a good anti hero in my eyes,I also love that she is a true female bad ass, like a walking emasculation machine.

No way 343 put much work into this, had to be mostly Vanguard putting most of their time into it. At least Gatling Gears was ok.

As a Windows Phone 8 owner, this is fantastic news. The Win8 requirement, if accurate, is pretty lame though.

As someone who really loves halo, I'm actually pretty pumped about this..

they already give us our triple A awesome Halo games, why not throw in some more story on the side with smaller titles that feedback exp to the big title.

This is not a product to sell Halo, it's a product to sell the windows 8 platform.

This is my kind of downloadable title. Too bad I have to wait for it to (hopefully) come out on a platform I care about.
