This incredible looking platformer will apparently be playable in a few weeks at PAX East, too.

Yeah conceptually it reminds me of Lost in Shadow, but I like the setting and art style much more. Also the added "phasing" in and out of reality and shadow seems unique. I look forward to seeing more.

Yeah, Lost in Shadow combined with that one game which name I completely forget. I think Brad quick looked it with someone. It had a similar switching mechanic with two colors/dimensions/whatever, switching in the middle of jump to make platforms appears and such.

Seems cool enough. Shifting/phasing platformers are always fun. I'm not sure, though, why that gunshot at the end was supposed to be a big moment. She had clearly made the jump. Why would it have mattered if someone fired the gun?

Was it Perspective? That's the type of vibe I'm getting from this game.

@sooty: I second this notion. It looks like Lost in Shadow which don't get me wrong, was/is a fantastic concept.

Neat idea, but not what I was looking forward to from the first 1 minute of that trailer.

Hmm the end of that made me think of Ghost Trick (as did the title of the stage play in the video) - changing what is happening "in the real world" by effecting things from the shadows - quite literally?

I guess that does have some differences from Lost in Shadow. I like the music, too.

I feel bad about the guy who made Shadow Physics. Lost In Shadow and now this copying his concept but not nearly as impressive.

I'm a bit tired of this "2D platformer projected onto a 3D environment" thing. Sideways, Lost in Shadow, Perspective... not only is the gag getting a bit tired, but the tricks you can pull with it don't quite justify how unpleasant it is to platform on a 2D image overlaid on top of a more readable 3D environment.

Don't get me wrong, I get what the appeal is for the concept, it's a neat technical trick and the 20s look of this particular one is charming, but I just don't want to play a platformer that has visuals getting in the way of my platforming.

Holy crap was it obvious that it was Patrick who uploaded this looking at that tagline. Anyways, this looks like an indie platformer alright.

"Incredible" is pushing it more than a touch. It looks like a fleshed out Trials Evolution stage but with a clunkily animated broad instead of a bike.

Might be decent I guess.

Yeah, "incredible" is pushing it. The Bioshock-y, art nouveau(?) style is still fresh, but the gameplay is more gimmick than anything else. Lost in Shadow had me stoked, but then that turned out to be somewhat disappointing. I've learned my lesson.

As a pretty big fan of indie platformers, this one does not look first-class. That's not a condemnation; second-class indie platformers include neat games like Outland, Dust, and Dustforce, and many, many more. But I feel calling this one "incredible" maybe does a disservice to the really, really incredible indie platformers that have released over the last several years.

Not really seeing anything incredible about this. It looks like a mishmash of a few recent indie games. That doesn't mean it won't be fun to play (maybe it will, maybe it won't). Is it just me, or is some of that character animation really clunky? Some of it is fluid, and then (especially in jumps) the whole thing just falls apart. The art direction doesn't look bad, but "incredible"? Sorry, no.
