This is exactly what I was saying when this video was posted. I thought it was actually quite ballsy of them to release footage so early on.

Then we heard it's coming out in March, so my defense was for naught. Oh, Activision....

I think I'm in agreement with everyone who think this game looks ugly. Granted, it's still in development, but the graphics are awful so far, and the Zombies don't look scary to me.

Activision, I hope you can ignore this fan-made trailer, and just keep working on the game.

Seriously though if I were Activision I would be a bit worried that even though they didn't make this trailer this is going to affect some peoples view of the game.

Considering that the "other" Walking Dead game still exists, was really successful, and will as far as I know have a second season, I don't think this is anything at all to get upset about.

Sneaking around zombies seems pretty cool... but that's about it.

Duuuude... this doesn't even look like footage that should've been publicly released. It's terrible. The zombies resemble plastic mannequins and everything about the environments and gameplay screams "UNFINISHED!".

Exactly what I was thinking. Any fan of the movie can clearly point that out. Can they get in trouble for plagiarising? Cause it sounds remarkably like 28 days later. Unless they licensed the music.....

Looks like a mediocre zombie mod with bad zombie "stealth" and melee combat that's worse than ZombiU and L4D2.

So I sorta Twitter-know a guy who used to work at Gearbox in the Borderlands 1 days, then got laid off and never got to reap any of the benefit of that game taking off. Last I checked, he works at Terminal Reality and was pimping Star Wars Kinect. While I'm sure that game probably sold well, it can't feel good having everyone trash talk something you are working really hard on.

If this is final footage of the game, which I really hope it is not, then that means the game has no HUD which is sorta cool, but has fucking terrible animations and melee stuff. In a year that just had both ZombiU, Dead Island, and even the OTHER Walking Dead game come out, I don't know why this game is necessary, especially if it's not going to do what other people have already done well.

Disregarding the actual way the game looks, this is just a shitty trailer. It's fucking boring with one weird tonal background track and no sense or direction or that shots were chose for any meaningful reason.

That was the biggest load of shit I've seen today and I did a shit this morning, turned around and looked at it and said "Well golly gee, that'll be the biggest shit I'll see all day by far!".

But I was horribly mistaken.....

It's a miscalculation in that this seems like a really rough, almost prototype-like version of the game. I mean, sure, if the final game looks and feels like this it's kinda terrible, but a bunch of this stuff seems straight-up unfinished.

I guess every now and then we need one of these non-trailers to leak so that we get all the snarky headlines from the press and people are reminded why developers will refuse to talk to the press in anything but heavily controlled PR speak... which is not to say that this game is going to be any good, either.

This looks super early. I don't understand why they felt the need to put out something that looks like a pre alpha build.

It meets my expectations for the AMC tie in game. They were not high expectations.

I feel like there is going to be a big backlash against TWD over-saturation soon. And this game might not help.

Tried to give this the benefit of the doubt when it was announced. Always knew it wouldn't be that great but fuckkkkk. This looks like an abomination. Why are the zombies covered in baby oil and their hair made of plastic? Just fuck man...

There's no way this will be a boxed retail game ... right?

One of the biggest issues is the lack of presence - I liked how Far Cry 3 showed the main character moving, grabbing ledges, popping his dislocated wrist back into place, shoving a needle in his arm ... this game doesn't even have hands on the ladder.

And the graphics are stuck in that sort-of-kind-of inspired by the comic, but also sort-of like the TV show.

They should do the game in black and white like the comic. That'd at least make it interesting.

Where Telltale's game was a deeply engrossing character study, Activision's game seems like a vacuous, shallow version of Call of Duty Zombies: Atlanta Edition.

I hereby christen thee, 'The Other' Walking Dead Game.
