They are my two most anticipated games too! With Obsidian behind this, it should be amazing. People rip on them because of bugs in the games, but the games they make are all just so different and more complex than others and they have a knack for great story telling & deep game mechanics. I really hope this isn't complete junk. Snider was right when he said Obsidian specializes in making awesome games and breaking engines.

I think this could suprisingly be a good JRPG influenced Battle System with Summons. If the parts that looked like gameplay are legit, this will be a sexy ass game.

As a person who really hasn't kept up with the show since 2002 (dear god it's been out a long time) and kind have seen about 3 episodes since, I will have to say this looks really good. Part of me feels like since it's Obsidian the game could be on a 50/50 fence between brilliance and an utter fuck up of a good idea or it will work out really well for a franchise who hasn't had the best of luck with games.

Between this and Family Guy Online, I'm curious to see if anyone will step up to make a proper Simpsons game where you can explore all of Springfield without it being all sectioned off in weird spots.

This is so crazy. Still unbelievable that this is a video game from the look of it. I think it's truly a huge game in that respect. Never has something been so fully translated to a game from another medium.

Except that Family Guy's game wasn't made by a studio with an impressive pedigree. The people making this game have faith in this game.

The people who made the Family Guy game churned it out in a weekend to cash in on an established property in time for the Christmas break.

I like the show but this game doesnt seem verry funny, all it plays on is that its southpark. How can people look forward to this when theres no gameplay?
