Sucks to be Tim Shafer here, because all 3 games he mentioned I'd buy over his any day of the week. I have UC2 paid off and MW2 paid off. Assassin's Creed 2 will be a rent and so will Brutal Legend.
 
I hope he's ready to accept that his game is NOT going to sell well and it's NOT going to get Game of the Year in any category...maybe the media will throw him a bone for best game soundtrack just out of pity, but he's not doing anything in this game that will raise the bar for gaming.
 
This game will be a blast I'm sure to those it appeals to, but it won't have the same effect as if someone got hands on time with Uncharted 2 never having played Uncharted 1 or even heard of it. 
 
I wish the game the best of luck, but I'm saving my money for better things suited for me.

hahaha, they both wear black because they are fat.  anyway, Tim Schaefer just listed why this adventure game, not made for kids, and really not appeal to adults, on the cover anyway will not sell well.  Hey I played it and thought it was good, just didn't feel like it was a must have for my collection.  And I feel pretty confident that I would feel ok not having played this game the rest of my life.

I still find it funny that Tim Schafer considers Drake's permanent half-tuck shirt in Uncharted to be the most marvelous thing about the game hehehehehe

Wow I found Jack Black really really annoying just there, which is strange because in the brutal thoughts thingys he was pretty awesome :P ah well I'm getting both Brutal Legend , Uncharted 2, Modern Warfare 2, Borderlands, Dragon Age: Origins, possibly AC2... and the list goes on....

I had to sell a good amount of games (And with it part of my soul. That always happens when I trade them in.) to make sure Brutal Legend, Uncharted 2, God of War collection, Tekken 6, and Assassins Creed 2 become a permanent part of my collection. I just hope there are some more unlockable moves for the guitar and axe, as it felt a little sparse in the demo.

Man, don't really get all the Jack Black hate around here. Yes, Tim Schafer is undeniably a funnier individual in many ways but they have joined forces on this one! Its not a competition, its a double shot of awesomeness. Really glad this game is getting all this publicity, eagerly anticipating this one. Uncharted will just have to wait.

Great. First, you speak crap, then you try to hide behind the "DUDE I HAS AN OPINION" wall, then you apologize because you OBVIOUSLY just stated your opinion without any arguments which makes it perfectly legit, not even trying to imply at first that you had any contact with the game.

I really like Jack Black, and Tim Schafer. I preordered Uncharted 2, Dragon age and Brutal Legend for the ps3. I have really high hopes for all three.
