Now I want to see a Quick Look Throwback of Night Trap AND Plumbers Don't Wear Ties. I will renew my subscription even if it doesn't expire until some time next year as it is!

It might be cool, but the amount of time it would take would probably cut into other things, like Quicklooks, which I prefer because of it covers more current games. Some more retro quicklooks might help, as that is the meat of Time Trotters.

It's interesting that the best bit about this video is Ryan and Jeff playing Night Trap and commenting over it, the rest of it leaves me a little cold. The guys are best when they are just being themselves rather than acting.

The site definitely needs more Time Trotters and/or Quick Look Throwbacks.

I believe MK was the first infamously mature content game that got mass media and political attention but Night Trap was the one that made the government say "whoh whoh whoh we gotta do something about this" and they organized to figure out what to do about said mature games thus the ESRB was born. Doom didn't come out till 93 and the those other two were 92 but I've no idea which came out first.

I was never a fan of porn with narratives, but when they go all gonzo on Night Trap, like the Quick Looks, I like it.

Great episode and a joy to finally see it guys! Fascinating to see all the beginnings of GB happening back on Gamespot since at the time I was blind to them because I had just made the switch to more personality driven US sites after being finally fed up with Euro magazines and their 'second thought' web presences. Therefore back in the day everything was mindblowing to me, the cool Greg Kasavin video reviews, the thrill of watching Jeff, Ryan and rich Gallup on the live shows and I barely ever got to the weirder, evolutioanry shit like point reports, Gregs amazing video from the press party and Time Trotters.

That was great. I agree that it probably should have died but it's fascinating to see what was the origin to the GB format we enjoy today.

Gamespot owned the TT assets so Jeff and Ryan couldn't take them to GB and GS wouldnt put them up after the exodus. Now GB and GS are reunited TT can live again.
