We Play Tokyo 42 with Mode 7 Games

This game seems really neat. Seems like a good one to lose a few hours to and tear through a district or two, put down for a day or two, then jump back in and rip through some more. I wonder what the total game length & number of missions will be?

The ambient music is really good, but I'd be tempted to put on vaporwave/synthwave compilations on the 2nd screen throughout my playthrough.

I love pixel art, but jesus, I wish indie devs would stop leveraging it when their game has no ties to it. Sure it's blocky, but there is nothing related to a pixel in the rest of the visual language, don't use it for portraits; hire an illustrator.

edit: or in this case, since it leverages pure flat shaded geo, develop a portrait style that takes advantage of that.

I wonder how this will play on a game pad. Waiting for this and Shadow Tactics to come to Xbox. Two isometric games with stealthy play emphasis. Just waiting for release date(s) news!

Aesthetically this looks freakin amazing. I am not sure about 1 hit death to be honest. I, personally, would like to have some leeway so it might be a turnof for me.

This looks like the spiritual successor to Syndicate I have been waiting for. Can't Wait!
