I still can't believe you only joined the Tested server for literally 10 seconds, Drew was even white listed as you left.

I hope they revisit this when it's in Beta or complete. It seems like it could be fun when the bugs are fixed.

Oh man, what a tragedy that was watching it live. But still entertaining enough. I'm not sure it's possible to record Arma Day Z live; that's practically asking to get yourself griefed.

I do hope they revisit these again though (both Arma and Minecraft). There's a ton of potential there, and the internets were just not in Vinny and Drew's favor.

I would also like to say, don't give up on this game. This whole thing was hilarious and I would love to see Vinny and Drew try this again. Maybe even as a short series. Maybe even throw Dave in there too if possible.

@xobballox How do you know they were assholes? They may have been thinking that Vinny and Drew were coming after them. From what I've seen from this, the most amazing thing about the game is that you never quite know if someone is a friend or running up to you to shotgun you in the face. Makes for an extremely interesting gameplay dynamic that is genuinely unique and not really present in a lot of other games I've played (where it's always clear who is on what team).

This looks pretty cool! Is there a point to the game or is the whole thing to just keep going on and trying to survive?

It was more a comical use of asshole than a serious use of asshole. (In other words, I was just joking around about them being assholes.)

Though, that one guy did shoot him in the back of the head...

Or just being very devious. Personally the paranoia about other players potentially being just as bad as the zombies makes this really exciting. If I had a PC capable of playing this game, I would definitely check out both ARMA and this. I will say that I can think of something similar, the multiplayer of Red Dead Redemption. You were never quite sure if that guy you were looking at was going to shoot you in the face at some point or not.

Yeah I love it, now I have the luxury of not trying to catch it live and just wait an hour or so.

They should try it again, but roll with a bigger crew to kill anyone on sight.

You know what I enjoy about this community? Even though 90% of this video was server searching, and other blunders, a lot of people love it simply because you guys are checking out such a niche little mod. And you know what? I love it to.

The best part about this game really isn't the zombies: It's the fact you never know what other players might do at any moment. The four (and then five) way stand off was utterly hilarious. I personally would have shot them immediately for not backing off until I knew they could be trusted. But then I am more paranoid than most. The more I watch this the more I really wish I had a PC capable of running this game :( I want to play it so badly. I think it's time to get a new gaming PC again.

Day Z kind of reminds me of the movie "The Road".. If you haven't seen it, I recommend it..

Apparently the central server is rooted today or similar, so I really hope that they decide to come back to this game at some later point in time. It really deserves some more justice than watching an endless array of black screens with "Server not responding". Unfortunate timing that had to happen today.

Any Arma coverage is awesome in my book. I love seeing Arma and DCS get coverage like this. Some of the best gaming experiences that I've had in modern times came from organized Arma missions.

I kind of hope when (please be a "when") they try this again they don't livestream it. This means you'll see peoples "natural" behavior instead of more deliberate trolling by following the stream and shooting them intentionally. I suspect they will still be shot at on a regular basis of course.
