i really like the first part of this trailer, but i don't really like the look of the enemies.

Bioshock was amazing. I have faith... and no preconceived expectations from playing previous Xcom titles.

Its a first person shooter? Thats a little dissapointing.

Ah so this is the trailer that went up early by mistake. Day before the Kinect event I saw this link for a second but when I reloaded the page it was gone.

All the fans of XCOM want is the original with better graphics and UI. Straight up.  That game is STILL a masterpiece.

This looks really interesting, actually, but what does this have to do with X-Com? This should be a new IP

Really dug the art style. Though quite a bit of graphical work looks like it needs to be done. Those aliens weren't super great...

Looks neat though only the village idiot or someone desparate would use a shotgun on a blobby monster.

You know, i was skeptical about an X-COM FPS but this looks like it might be pretty fun.
 
Still not what i want from an XCOM game but at the same time, not too bad looking. I'm interested, at least.

The audio cues are great, especially the gurgle.

Did anyone else think that the aliens here look like the alien black oil in the X Files? That's all I could think about when I was watching this.

So is this the spiritual successor of the spiritual successor of Deux Ex?

What? How is this related to the XCOM that I knew and loved, at all?!

All of this "It has nothing to do with X-COM" stuff really has me confused. We're talking about a 2-minute trailer here, not all of which is even gameplay and very, very little of which includes dialogue. Isn't it even sort of concievable that the game's narrative ties in to the X-COM universe, or that there's more to the gameplay than just what we're seeing in this video? After all, how would you know either way?

I played the old X com games and found them impossible to win. This looks shit hot, and I want it all over m- i mean, I want it it looks good...

That trailer was like the first on-screen appearance of the smoke monster on Lost.  I think I was supposed to be impressed, but the effects look anemic at best.
 
Those blobs were just flashing sprites clipping through all the geometry.  "Shoot mobile splash sprites for $60 sometime this year!" is not a good message to send.

I think this looks awesome, I don't understand all of the WTFs.

You know, for all I've heard about them not sticking to X-com's roots and all, to be honest, this trailer looked far more interesting to me than CoD: Black Ops or Halo Reach.
