It looks like ubisoft is at it again with 60 mins of "exclusive" content. Many questions arise. is it going to be 15 mins of gameplay like the far cry 3 exclusive gameplay or will it be better?. another question is will this "exclusive" gameplay be on the ps4 aswell ?. assassins creed iv is also having exclusive content but my gut feeling is this "exclusive" gameplay will just be bullshit.

What the fuck does that even mean? I mean seriously. That is the dumbest sales pitch I've heard in awhile.

It just means PS3 has unskippable cutscenes.

Oh boy 60 minutes. Thats 60 minutes i wont be playing PS4 or buyign watch dogs.

It means there is an extra fetch quest that has no bearing on the game what so ever. But their profit margin is probably a few pennies higher for that version, so they want you to buy it. And they think this will make everyone want that version. Because exclusive content apparently equals more sales? (I have no idea if that is true, just guessing)

I specifically mean the terminology used here. This has been done ad nauseam already with ubi titles on Ps3 most if not all Assassins Creed games ended up getting some throw away mission that was an absolute waste of time but the specific quantification of it being "60 minutes" is just really weird.

It's been talked to death on the bombcast but it essentially boils down to something that would sound ugly if it was laid out bare (e.g. ONE WHOLE EXCLUSIVE QUEST) so they use time convince you you're getting better value. To me I think "60 minutes? barely seems worth it." and sure enough it never is because it's probably not 60 whole minutes and totally unnecessary.

@rabidcentipede: It's fo sho true duder. Timed-exclusives, exclusive DLC yadda yadda whatever. Maybe it sucks but it don't mean it don't work. Just ask the guys rakin in the cash.

The 60 minutes of exclusive gameplay is all extra loading times since you bought the shitty old version.

How do you even measure gameplay like that? Is there going to be a timer to enforce this?

In the same way you say that BioShock Infinite is about 10 hours long, or Limbo is 2.5 hours or this piece of DLC is about 90 minutes long.

They put three chimps in a cage with an unlimited supply of food, water, and consoles with the content installed, then see how long it takes for a chimp to beat the content.

I think I can pass on 60 minutes to enjoy a better version of a game.

I guess 60 minutes also would be quite less and would we have to pay an extra amount for only 60 minutes or is it all included already. I hope they give what is mentioned here. I’ll need to buy PS3 for this.
