The Nintendo Wii is a home video game console released on November 19, 2006. The Wii's main selling point was the innovative use of motion controls that its signature Wii Remote and Nunchuk controllers allowed for. It became the best selling home console of its respective generation of hardware.
@Nictel: I think you'd be disappointed. Fortress of Doom is bad. I also love Lufia 2, and would replay it with no problems. The first one, though, is unbearable.

That's a shame, I'll still play it though if only for the references and to say yes please make more Lufia.
@Nictel: That's fair enough. And also, it's good that you played the second one in advance. If I remember correctly, the first one starts with the second one's ending. Because of that, Rise of the Sinistrals lacked a little impact for me, because I already knew those character's destinies (and man, that ending is great!).
I think that the main problem with Fortress of Doom is that, even for its time, is a little too conventional, you know? It feels a lot, even graphically, like a NES game, not a SNES game.
The more I talk about these games, the more I remember how much I liked Rise of the Sinistrals. I've got to play that game again.
@zitosilva: That sounds good. (And yes the ending is great!)
Hmmm, maybe now that will matter less. I can imagine at the time playing what feels like a NES game would feel disappointing. However now on VC I won't have that expectation because I know I'm playing an old game. I just have to get in the game with the mindset that the game is dated.
