    Strange wii sound issue

    Wondering if anyone has any idea about this issue. The wii is directly connected to receiver (Pioneer SCLX81) via component cable, and yet I still only get stereo sound, I have made sure to set the wii to surround mode as well.

    What exactly is the issue? Does your receiver support Pro Logic II?

    Yes it does support PLII . The issue is that I am not getting surround sound, only stereo.
