Wii de Ultraband is a digital version of the classic Ultraband toy that Nintendo first released in 1966. The toy lets its users reach out and grab objects using suckers pads:
The WiiWare version uses the Wiimote and Nunchuck to mimic the Ultraband's two levers. You hold the two controllers in vertical mode:
According to the games Japanese Club Nintendo page, it appears to only have a single mode of play, where you use your digital Ultrahand to grab meat off a hot grill and place it onto a plate in front of you carefully. If you drop a piece of meat away from the plate, the game ends. You can pick up combo bonuses by grabbing well cooked meat consecutively, like power-ups which increase your grill's heat.
In addition to solo play, the game also supports a two player local mode in which players attempt to get the most meat to their own plate within 90 seconds. You can also grab your opponent's meat, stealing points and glory in the process.
In 1966 Nintendo's original toy cost ¥600, this WiiWare version which you'll download via a code will cost just 50 Club Nintendo Points, easily making it the cheapest Club Nintendo bonus gift yet. No word on a Western launch but here's hoping we do get it, and in time for Christmas.
