Ipods the way to go imo. Dusnt take up hdd space and you can always change your playlists.

I don't. Mainly because I have a laptop, so if I do want music I can just play stuff from that, but most of the time I don't want music playing whilst I'm playing games. It's a personal preference thing.

I never feel the need to listen to my own music when I'm playing a game.

Stream it wirelessly thru my Vista PC. via WMP11. works pretty well except I can't stream "mp4" unless I've got iPod plugged in.

I use my Ipod as well, and not only racers but just about  any game I spend a fair amount of time playing online. I like to listen to my own music. Quick question my Ipod only works on my 360 when I plug it into the back usb port any one else's do this? I know my front usb ports work cause I use them for my plug and play kit, and my friend wired controller worked in them.

My xbox has the ability to conenct to my PC already, it just can't find my music because I keep it in a fodler so my downloading program can group it together and play it.

I didn't like the pc connectivity so much, having to leave your pc on and all. Just didn't feel as convenient as i would like.

Lol, it'd be very conveiniant for me as my PC Is on 24/7. I don't, mixed feelings still about moving all my files jsut so my xbox can find them instead of just buring a couple cd's untill I get a new flashdrive.

Are you asking how to listen, or how we listen to music?

In any case, I listen by burning a CD with the songs, put it in my 360 and rip the songs.
I also connect my PSP to my 360 and rip the songs from there.

I usually drop in a flash drive to move it quick from PC to xbox for what I'm feeling like. Now that I have an ipod I will probably use that more.

I have a program called Connect 360 for my Mac to stream the music.  I love it when I'm playing online games.
