Here's the deal.... my xbox froze this morning using netflix.  I turned it off and back on, when i turned it on it red ringed.  So of course I turned it off and back on. I load dashboard no problem, so i finished watching my movie. Now I'm playing some COD and it keeps freezing.  It isn't red ringing, just freezing up.  Any suggestions?
  I thought I heard that microsoft won't replace the box if it is not red ringing, any truth behind that? Thanks for the help.

There's obviously a hardware fault. Next time it red rings, check to see if it's still in warranty and get it repaired for free.

I don't have an Xbox360 but have you tried dusting it? From the inside with can of air?

Clear your memory cache in settings :? If that don't work call em up.

yep is red ringed for good.  Calling microsoft now....

That sucks man :/ Welcome to the RROD club, though.

One club i was hoping not join. At least they are efficient at getting them back to you now.  Only go about 2 weeks with out my box.  Good thing I just got infamous.

My Xbox's did that before they finally red ringed. It will first start freezing, you restart it and it runs, it freezes again...... same process will happen for a few days until you try turning it on and there are the 3 lights blinking in your face. In short its gonna be dead soon.
 
Also they send you a refurbished Xbox if you send your dead one in to them.
