    Overview

    Disaster Report 4: Summer Memories is a complete rebuild of the canceled PlayStation 3 title, Zettai Zetsumei Toshi 4, released initially for the PlayStation 4. After Irem shut down their video game division in 2011, the team responsible for creating the Zettai Zetsumei Toshi series founded Granzella Inc and eventually obtained the intellectual property rights to the franchise in 2014. Granzella then continued development on Zettai Zetsumei Toshi 4 with the team starting completely from scratch and not reusing anything from the unreleased PS3 game, hence why it had a "Plus" in its Japanese title. The game was released in Japan on November 22, 2018 and was ported to the Nintendo Switch in 2019. Both version of the game were later released on April 7, 2020, in North America courtesy of NIS America along with a new port for the PC released via Steam.
