Nice.  I've been looking forward to this review.  I thought it was spot on gameplay-wise but his delivery did seem a little flat. 
 
I'm only 5 hours or so into the game and my impressions are: Beautiful but meh.  Haven't seen Chronos yet so I have that to look forward to.   Incidentally, how do you obtain the mighty Can Opener of Olympus?

Not as funny as I expected. His delivery seemed kinda....subdued compared to what it usually is. Hmm.
 
Still, the points he brought up about GoW's plot and characters I thought were pretty damn good.

haha Yahtzee is awesome, his reviews arent to be taken seriously though, i look at them as comedic bits because there is no way someone(whose name isnt Tucker Max or Maddox) could be that big of a jaded bastard in real life.  At least he was honest about not being able to finish Final Fantasy.

Pretty much spot on. The game has incredible graphics and some clever puzzles, but the story is terrible, the boss battles are boring, the combat is even mashier than it was in previous God of Wars, and the weapons and abilities you gain over the course of the game are mostly superfluous.
 
Man, when I think of the stuff I could have spent those $60 on instead... I'm never gonna allow myself to get excited for a console God of War game again. Or any other future Santa Monica product, for that matter.

His taste in video games is weird. Hated Borderlands because he forced himself to play online with strangers because he thought Borderlands could only be enjoyed when playing online. He also liked Darkest of Days simply for its time travel concept.

Really like Zero Punctuation. I think Yahtzee's critical nature is refreshing. It's satire poking fun of everything that's wrong with games today. It's somewhat exaggerated (because of its satirical nature), but, even though I oftentimes disagree with his opinions, his arguments are far from the outright lies some of his critics suggest they are.
