Ama be honest... I really appreciate Rorie's PC port Quick Looks because he goes through the changes and PC-specific options (graphical or otherwise). Like, they mention in this quick look maybe there's an option to change button prompt to Playstation controller layout, but they just go "huh I wonder" and never open up the options.
I recorded something for this but unfortunately it didn't turn out super great because of my recording settings and then I got COVID! It seems like a pretty great port, though! I think I might have an idea for how to do 21:9 recordings for stuff like this in the future, though; need to try it out sometime.
We appreciate you putting the graphics to the lowest setting. That always gets a good laugh out of me.
@women40581: lol who would give Fox News even an ounce of credit for literally anything when they've been railing against masks and vaccinations for 2 years now?
If you go to the Bombcast on YouTube there are actual chapter markers now, possibly a first for the Bombcast?
I've been asking for timestamps or something like this for years so I shed a single tear when I saw it. Now if they only integrate these into the podcast so I can use them on the iPhone podcast app that would be SWELL.
@goosemunch: I started playing Myst at the release of Myst 3 which was around 2001 and I loved it. I think it was really refreshing to play a puzzle game that required you to write things down on a piece of paper and which didn't involve any combat or real danger. Just beautiful exploration and puzzling. Anyone that likes mechanical puzzles should give the series a shot - admittedly even the new remastered Myst is a bit rough but if you pick up Myst 3 / 4 those are some really solid games and as for the story you don't really have to worry about it.
@manburger: Yes absolutely there is something very tranquil and smooth about how the game flows, especially near the end where you’ve unlocked all the abilities. The teleport is especially SO good - the way you sort of spin into it and the screen zooms in. Very fun little indie.
