    WWE 08... wait for 09! 0

note, this is an old review i updated to let you all know what is up with this game! One of the biggest things that helps with the look of the game is the camera. Imagine where it was before and then pan it into right on the ropes. It is probably twice as close as before and it really helps when playing the game. if you have listened to a few of the other reviews they mention that there are a few quirks with the targeting when you attack multiple people and with just hitting people. The camera is...

    I'm addicted to you(Short review) 0

I personally am a huge wrestling fan and I have bought and loved every single wrestling game. When I picked this one up I was very mad that they merged the 24/7 mode and GM mode so now you can't play one and the other at the same time. The GM mode is the one of the most addicting things to me ever.I mean just having the feeling that you can judge what happens is great. You want Kane to have the Raw Title then DO IT!The tournaments aren't amazing. They are acually pretty repetitive. The roster is well...

WWE Smackdown VS Raw 2008 (Wii) 1

This game had so much potential, but it hardly used any of it. Why release a game with 5 match types, a limited moveset, and pretty much everything about it terrible? Obviously WWE wasn't thinking about that when they made this. I generally love the Smackdown VS Raw series but hopefully we can see this game improve a lot more with 2009 on the way. What this game does do right, it does it fairly well, but not enough to save it from a poor review....

    Amazing High-Octane Wrestling Game 0

Well, there are a lot of ignorant people towards this game for no reason. I can honestly say it's one of the funnest wrestling games I have ever played and there is just so much to do. Let's start off with campaign, you pick your favourite superstar from any brand and you go along with a storyline of facing other wrestlers in all types of matches and it shows fun clips to watch. At the beginning of this game when you're learning how to play with the new controls and all the features it's kind o...

    More of the same. 0

It's rather upsetting that yet again, were forced to swallow yet another rehashed game not worthy of our gaming machines.  I mean, the same animations have been used for awhile now.  Even dating back to the Ps2 and the first Xbox, the animations for some of the superstars finishers have been the same.  That's quite possibly the most frustrating thing about this game. The brand new addition to this game is the ECW no rules match(i.e. Hardcore Match), and the only new addition to that actual match ...

A Prime Example Of A One Year Development Cycle 0

WWE Smackdown vs. Raw 2008 is the 9th game in the long running smackdown series, and recently the series has seen far better times, and so has the WWE its self, thankfully though THQ and Yukes have managed to bring the series back up to a respectable level. However, that doesn't mean to say that Smackdown vs. Raw 2008 is a complete overhaul from SvR 07, the game does have a handful of new features, but still, the game does has an incredible amount of bugs and visual glitches, such as clipping, p...

ProsStill fun to play as a WWE fan as all other WWE games are Huge amount of match types as their always has been ConsBad story, isn't nearly as good as previous games Still bad clipping and animation issues PresentationMenus are done very well, aswell as the entrances for most characters. Improving at a snails pace from previous games. 3/5GameplayVery fun to play as a WWE fan...

SVR is fun but nothing really sticks out as amazing 0

Smackdown vs Raw 2008 on 360 is quite a fun game. Many aspects can be fun but, also a lot of aspects are just either dated or just not to well done. There are a bit of new features such as the ECW overall and the addition of superstar fighting styles but overall the game hasnt changed too much. So this game has your standard modes of play. Their is your typical match types as singes, doubles, triple threats, fatal four and so on. Whats special this year is that all of those matche variants have ...
