Just helps me find some relief in that first quarter of 2011. Jeeesh I want to buy so many games, still trying to wait for a price drop on Dragon Age to play before DA2 comes out. I missed out on so much awesome before I built my new PC, now I just have a tough time getting myself to turn on my consoles for anything besides watching a movie.

Christ, I should just stop reading about games and walk into a Target eight months after release and buy it then just like all the other poor dullards.

Square Enix is the publisher, so they determine the release date. After all, Square Enix are the people having disks made and distributed. It is within their control. Eidos is just deciding that, instead of having dead time between the original release date and the new one, they should use that time to give the game some extra polish. That's my impression, anyway.
You're totally right both words have three letters the same! If thats the requirement of jokes these days society sure has gotten lazy. The only way the joke works is if it sounds the same, so either you didn't really know how to pronounce it...or your gag just sucks. A strict heteronym might work as a pun at best but simply having two different words with different meanings, spelling and pronunciation really doesn't work on any level. Maybe you should stop being such a Festizio!

Another year of "polish" didn't help Alpha Protocol. I got FF XIII for < $20 recently. Still need to play it. I didn't think FF XIV as an online game would ever do well. It's a single-player experience (or would be good as a co-op experience too), but not something to compete with WoW or other MMO games.
There is too many damn games out right now so it's probably better to wait. Also, I haven't understood why Japanese games want to be released in the Jan-Feb time frame when everyone has enough games to play already from Xmas, etc. Wouldn't it be poor timing?

I don't know how this game will turn out and this delay doesn't really put my mind at ease. Hopefully the delay was just a business decision and doesn't actually have anything to do with the game's quality (or lack thereof).
I'm really loving the game's visual style, very Blade Runner like - same goes for the music, which I LOVE! I will pick up the limited edition of this game just for the soundtrack, even if the game ends up sucking.
