Assassin's Creed: Odyssey Announced - Set in ancient Greece

If Suckerpunch manages to nail it with their samurai game, I don’t mind AC skipping that setting for now.

...buuut Ancient Greece isn’t really getting me excited, at least before I see some footage. I’d rather fight mythical creatures and gods in that setting.

@devise22: @humanity: I just think there are more unique settings to use. Places that have a better connection to AC weird biblical sifi foundation. I'd rather see what GoT looks like than have an AC game set there also.

Been hoping they'd to the obvious and set it in feudal japan.

@jonny_anonymous: I'll have to look at those comics then. It's a bummer that it was never included in the game. It's the only thing that tied Egypt to the hints in previous Assassin's Creed games and they don't include it! (except Caesar I guess)

I'm seeing too many rumors about the time period to make a guess one way or the other.

Hmm, loved Origins (my first real AC), but didn't bother with its DLC. I wonder...

The first DLC was fine, I have yet to get to the second one yet but apparently, it's really good.

I just lost interest in Origins...it was too big if that makes sense.

Or maybe both
