WTF why did they not use the Dave one, it's brilliant.

I just think Dave prefers not to be featured on headers/art (the Bombcast art, for example).

Hey guys, sorry for the radio silence. If I can speak for Dave here, the reason that Duke banner didn't get picked last week was that we just didn't feel like it communicated the event very well. The Photoshop goofiness and site memes we all love so dearly are great, but remember that these are supposed to be promotional in nature. Shirtless Dave doesn't really invite clicks. 
 
B0nd07 has another strong entry this week. RockAction, I like parts of both yours, though there's readability issues on the first one, and on the second one, well, I like the gag, but I probably wouldn't use the one that has our street address on it :)

Kind of a hollow victory this week being the only one to submit anything.  And by submit I mean upload to the dropbox (an important step).  It's a shame people seem to have lost interest in this.  I hope more try next week.

I didn't have time to fix either of mine up, and i didn't like them enough to dropbox them so thats my fault, and I missed TNT - kinda fucked off but i saw Chris Jericho's band Fozzy instead and they were pretty good

I can't seem to upload my image to GiantBomb at the moment, but I've created the EA MMA folder in the dropbox and have uploaded my banner, i'll post it here when I can.

Like the lettering on #2 better, though yeah, I'd say keep messing around. My only other thought is that the EA Sports MMA tattoo doesn't quite play, though this is clearly still early. Still, I like it, strong start! "

Ok, so these are far from done (needs reshading, fixing of skin colour, new text and various other tweaks) but you get the idea.

It's good to see renewed interest in this after the last couple of weeks!  I would like to point out the note in the template, however, that says "the fonts should never change".  Also, be sure to upload your .psd in case Dave wants to modify yours like he did with my Mortal Kombat promo.
