I did a paper in Political Science about the political and social  influence of the Otaku (japanese for nerd) in Japan.

Also very interested in why games traditionally have found it so hard to tell a deep and involving story with any kind of conviction without obstructing gameplay to do so. Story telling through interactivity! (ooh... there was my nerdiest thing right there)

I wore a dwarf costume to school on Haloween. I'm a hella cool cat around my Highschool.

I dressed up at a Greek goddess for Holloween last year and my other half went photo happy.

Tried to learn an Interactive disassembler. Hard to learn something that nobody knows about. Also make clay head thingy of Mario and Starfox. I have the mario head on my wall and I threw Starfox and smashed on his head... Idk why.

Staying up until 4:00am to watchSony's E3 press conference (time differences) on the night of my graduation.

In november I didnt go to this huge party with my firnds because it was the release date of Nuts and B olts and I ended up staying up all night playing that.
Im sure Ive done nerdier stuff but thats all I got atm.

Today I actually pretended to use the avada kedarvra curse (from Harry Potter) on my friend.

Im not sure ive ever done anything supremely nerdy (I tend to spread it out ;)) but I did upgrade my secondary (high schools) wireless network and spent 4 of my 6 years there being the de facto person to teach new/forgetful/stupid teachers how to use computers (for reports/research etc. one for porn......) and how to teach them to teach the kids to use them (when your being critisiced for being a crap teacher by a teacher who cant teach and your only 14 whats going on :|). On a side note when my little cousin came to visit a few days ago he was playing his DSlite and he let me play it for a few minutes and within 30 seconds I had replaced his misplaced styles from my store of DSlite stylus's, I dont own a DSlite lol.

EDIT: Oh and I do HND Technical Support progressing on to a University Degree in Tech Support. And I got my Higher English: Communication (Talking/giving a speach) by doing a presentation on Linux.

Not sure. I've done plenty of nerdy things, some things of which I've regretted.

But I can remember one thing. It's not all nerdy, but it's more recent and I remember it more. During a trip I had at school, I was staring at this girl's ass, and she was really hot. But she was really pissed when my friends blurted out what I did. Oh well. I've done it before, so...

I crossed a highway to get to the only EBGames near my house in order to purchase the Street Fighter IV Tournament Stick for the 360.

Did the same thing, but during a winter storm, in order to purchase 360 games before the official launch of the 360 (won it in a contest, and received it early).

Oh - and almost shed a tear during the finale of Battlestar Galactica.

I own 4 Lego Star Wars/ Indiana Jones T-shirts. I love to play those games with my kids, so they bought me the shirts. I love them cos all I wear are some scruffy band tour shirts, so a light blue one with a Wookie on it pulling the arms of a Storm Trooper makes a change.

I bought a master replica's Kermit the Frog photo puppet and display it in my computer room :) ermmm....it's next to a massive kick ass Darth Vader statue!

Ok this literally just happened to me.  I'm sitting in the library and I see some Korean guys come up and sit next to me.  Suddenly I hear a sound and I instantly recognized it as a protoss drone building something.  The guys were LAN'in starcraft next to me.  I was seriously suprised from that one sound I was able to instantly know not only what game they are playing but what race too.
Starcraft is a great game lol.

Playing Halo:Combat Evolved about 4 years after it came out.

A couple years ago four of us from our campus' ACM chapter (Association for Computing Machinery) made a "float" for the homecoming parade that was a Ford Ranger pickup truck with a black spray-painted sheet tied on either side that had "Hello World" stenciled out in hex (properly null terminated, of course).
 
To make things even better we were somehow late and ended up as the last float on the parade, behind a Humvee and about a dozen soldiers from the National Guard. A couple of them came over before the parade and asked us what all those numbers meant. We tried to explain, and after a "oh. uh.... that's cool" they left looking even more confused. 
 
The actual parade was fun though. So weird being on the other side and see all those people staring at you. We were all sitting in the back of the pickup with our matching ACM shirts and not much else. Instead of thorwing stuff out to the crowd (cheap thumb drives was floated around as an idea but due to basic laziness never made it past that point) one of us jumped out of the truck, ran into the crowd where they were giving out free energy drinks, grabbed a bunch of them, the valuted back over the crowd barrier and hopped back into the truck with enough for everyone. 
 
 So there we were, in a homecoming parade, wearing black t shirts, sitting in the back of a truck with "48 65 6C 6C 6F 20 57 6F 6C 72 64 00" painted on the side drinking energy drinks. And that is the nerdiest thing I've ever done (in public).

Some of my friends told me this weekend, that walking around in my (fully awesome) Bioshock T-shirt was really nerdy. So that.. Maybe.

I watched to original Street Fighter movie a long time ago, and enjoyed it.

I left my girlfriend alone downtown to go check out an audio store. She didn't know where I had went and looked for me for an hour while I was talking about audio equipment with the guy behind the counter.
