Kinda sad about PC version release outcome

I never thought Rockstar would do it but they really f***ed up this time. Lets get something clear from the start : the game has addicting gameplay and awesome story - everything previous GTA games had. Except that you can't run it on PC.  Not unless you have a PC that belonged to the Almighty himself. OK hardware isn't so expensive these days, hell, it isn't even that pricy in my country but COME ON - MINIMUM : dual core 2 GHz ( really, i mean really ????) , 1.5 Gb ( i mean i have that much and it is minimum, FFS) 256 MB ( yeah, you cant believe that i said demanding ) and 18GB( ok resionable for a big game , GoW was 10 Gb no complain about that). And then you look at your piggy bank and you start to curse. Time to get new motherboard. And on top of all i hear people that have recommended, not minimum configs say that the can't run GTA on medium without game going into lag storm. I really hope that i am so wrong about this and that they will release a patch that will fix all of this crap and polish the game. I don't expect to run it but i can't even imagine the beast required to run GTA on max settings. Hmm i really hope that i just read from some bad sources and that actually GTA IV isn't that hardware hungry as it seems at this moment. I wanted to give it 4.5 stars but i dont have dual core so i knocked out a star : P. Single Core Power unite! Yeah.... Everything else is great as far as i can tell. Peace and may there be more GTAs in the future. Cheers.

An example of Video Game Art. 0

Grand Theft Auto isn't usually known for its dark, themed stories. Its previous works have been satires of culture wrapped in homage, inventive wit and free-form sandbox fun.GTA4 takes the series into a more structured experience, and it takes it into the higher realm of art. No longer is it just satirising culture and being crazy, it's also giving you a real and mature story to work with wrapped in a compelling world, and it pulls it off, and this isn't hyperbole, better than any game before it...

The PC version is an irritating and disappointing port 0

Before this game came out, Rockstar was one of the few developers that PC aficionados could always trust to provide the best possible content. Manhunt and the previous Grand Theft Auto games always put their best foot forward when it came to the PC version. In return for an extra six months of patience, you could play a game with better graphics and better controls. Sadly, that glorious trend has come to an end. Grand Theft Auto IV for the PC isn't just a lazy, substandard port with a few proble...
