A game that isn't for everyone, try first before making any decisions
The first time I heard of Her Story was when a bunch of people were complaining about how the game was SJW and feminist propaganda and let me start off by saying that propaganda this game is not. Just because a game centers around a female character it doesn't mean that it's something that panders to third wave feminists.
Her Story is a very interesting experience, personally I am a fan of visual novels and adventure games so this type of game is right up my alley. Going through the case files and investigatting everything so that I can get the full story and drawing my own conclusion at the end is pretty intersting. There isn't much much to say about the gameplay, you watch videos, decrypt stuff, research stuff, it's very basic but it works.
The performances during the live action video segments are well acted out and pretty convincing, Viva Seifert does an amazing job as the central character of the game.
The story of the game is pretty much a crime/mystery and I won't go into it in order to avoid spoilers but a few of the plot twists are pretty well implemented.
Her Story isn't a game for everyone and it is something you have to try for yourself to decide whether it is for you or not, but personally I can say that I would recommend this game even if it is for you to try it out for a few minutes.
