    Overview 

    The only safe means of entering The Hole is acquiring a key, or at least knowing someone who has one. The only place to obtain a key is in the nearby city of Paineel, which is run by the Cazic-Thule worshiping Erudites. As such, they do not welcome many visitors regardless of race, class, or religion. Even highly experienced adventurers will often solicit a young Cazicite in The Yard to make a run into the city to purchase a key, for once the door is open, a group can quickly enter before it closes. The door is actually a boulder beneath a small pool of water not far from the entrance to Paineel.
