A knife is a commonly seen object in video games. Usually used for close quarters combat, or as a cutting tool.
A laser is a focused beam of light, invisible through the air without some other medium (such as smoke) to illuminate it. Lasers are often used in video games as part of a targeting system, or as an offensive weapon in their own right.
Often used as either a weapon or in a weapon and also used often times as a weather effect, lightning is seen in several games. Called "thunder" in some games, even though thunder is the sound that lightning makes.
Machine guns, generally, are heavier weapons with a rapid rate of fire. To quote the Quake manual, they "eat ammo like popcorn."
Meat is the edible flesh of animals. It is often seen restoring the health of adventurers and annoying vegans.
A pinball is a small and almost always metallic sphere used in pinball games. The player hits the pinball around with flippers for the ball to hit or roll over things for points or even to complete pinball quests.
Mechanical bats covered in rubber, used to rebound a pinball back into play. A necessary ingredient in a precursor to the video game. Occasionally seen outside the realm of pinball games.
A tube or hollow cylinder for the conveyance of fluid, gas, and sometimes other materials.
A pistol is a very basic hand-held side arm, usually used in case of low ammo or tricky situations. They have appeared in many types of games.
A vehicle used to escort Law Enforcement Officers, carries weapons and supplies for the police, and criminals can be locked up in the back.
A piece of printed paper designed to be attached to a wall typically used to advertise. A good example is a movie poster.
Proximity mines are passive anti-personnel devices, often used as traps or ambushes, that detonate upon detecting the presence of a target.
Steel reinforcement bars used to add tensile strength to concrete structures. In a gaming context Rebars usually appear in various forms as makeshift weapons, most famously in the Condemned series of video games.
A revolver is a type of handgun that holds ammo in a revolving chamber. It normally houses six rounds, and in games is usually more powerful than standard handguns.
A weapon that launches rockets.
The most powerful weapon at short range. Effective against Zombies, Nazis, Demons, etc. Videogame shotguns tend to have exaggerated inaccuracy at long range- real life shotguns are still fairly accurate over a decent distance, while videogame shotguns rarely go more than fifteen feet before becoming completely ineffective.
A garment worn around the waist which is usually tube or cone shaped and hangs down over the legs. It is traditionally only worn by women.

A burst of electricity is sent via two wires into an attackers body, instantly disabling. Although designed as a non-lethal weapon, some villains found it to be little less non-lethal than expected!

A throwing axe is an axe that is used primarily as a missile weapon. Usually, they are thrown in an overhand motion (much like throwing a baseball) in a manner that causes the axe to rotate as it travels through the air.
As a modern commodity, toilets have been portrayed very well in video games over the years.

A container for trash. Often an in-game breakable object, filled with useful items/magic.
