Best of luck in all you do Dave, hope to see you around the site often. Hopefully in all Flight Club vids to come :)

Some stuff about parenthood and websites... and puppies!
Sorry to see you go, Dave. The relationship between the community and the design team and the transparency you were constantly promoting is a large part of what made Giant Bomb so unique and amazing. Never hearing "Dave, site's down" again makes me sad. At the same time you're doing it for the best of reasons so good luck to you and your family, and I wish you all the best.
And we get a silver lining too. Matt Rorie is back! Yay!
Dave, it feels incredibly weird to personally address someone through the internet who I've never met but it says an awful lot about this little site you've helped to greatness that I'm feeling a bit choked up now.
Know that you have fans in every corner of the world who really appreciate the hard work you've put in and the fun times you've given us. Wherever you find yourself a cold beer and a friendly chat are just a tweet away.
All the best for you and your beautiful family, and the mountain of diapers it seems like you're going to be tasked with changing.
P.S.
Please make sure you finish Blade Runner with the guys sometime, I would resub 3 times over to see it happen!
Will, Norm, Alex and Sara moving to New York (granted they still work for GB/CV...its just not teh same not having them around), and now Dave. Whiskey Media is dropping like flies... :(
But we got Rorie back! And I am okay with that! :D
Good luck Dave!
Good luck Dave! Bye! Please come back often for Random PC Games.
At least he left us with the gift of Rorie and puppies.
I don't even know what to say! But I feel like in some ways that you and Jeff are the "parents" of GiantBomb and it is like "Daddy and Mommy are taking a break" (don't ask me who's the dad and who's the mom) and I'm left repeatedly asking with puppy dog eyes "You'll come visit as often as you can, right?"
But you're more than that. You're also genuine and passionate in your craft and that's always inspiring to see. The candid Q&A's in the Radio Shows are always an eye opener when you go into your design philosophies. And the PC games! You are the duder that introduced Mount and Blade to me that, checking my steam games now... I have 198 hour and 43 minutes spent across the 3 M&B games.. mostly Warband... and mostly SinglePlayer... I really liked it... And I only even put 157 hours into Skyrim.
I could go on and on but I'll keep it (relatively) short and sweet. A Giant Thank You to you Mr. Snider, the internet will be lesser while you're gone. But if anyone is deserving of a break, you're one of them. So enjoy taking some time off to be a good father that you're being, because those early years are crucial to a child's development (or so I hear anyways). Veronica is a lucky kid to have you as a father just as GiantBomb was. Thank you again duder *salutes* and see you around!
Dave, you're one of my favorite folks at Giant Bomb. I was actually just wondering yesterday why we hadn't seen you on camera lately. I was hoping once the new design was over that we'd see more of you. I hope that still happens, even if it's just showing up for Unprofessional Fridays.
Good luck Duder! Come back often!

Will and Norm moved to new york? Where can i find out about this?
I've never felt sadder. I remember when in one of the first giantbomb explores the office and you showed up. I thought "I want to know more about that guy who got a drink coozie" I was hooked. I will miss you. Any quick look that said Dave on it I was in instantly. Didn't care what time of day. I will take a long lunch break and let everyone else complain. You interrupting the podcast asking wtf everyone was yelling about is still a favorite highlight. Also your sister. I mean wow. The snider clan was a treasure trove of entertainment. I look forward to any contributions you can make and will miss you dearly. You made me wonder about a career I never even considered. Knowing that that "top men" are missing the most top hatted of men is distressing. Know that you won't be forgotten. Giantbomb couldn't have been anywhere close to this without you. I hope you have fun raising an awesome child. Duder.
Bittersweet.
I don't know you personally, but I've always gotten the impression that you were a genuinely nice and humble guy. We need more nice and humble in this world.
Enjoy the baby, and please, please, please consider coming back around from time to time to keep "Random PC Game" going. I don't think I could bear the idea of that segment permanently dying.
Good luck in the future, Dave! Show up as often as possible. Who needs money when you've got the Bomb Crew, right? GLHB.
Have kid, quit job, pay for baby how? Hope everything works out for you! Hopefully you still stop by for a random PC game!

I believe he was a partner at Whiskey Media so I think he probably would have made a comfortable sum from the sale.
