    Overview

When Atari released the Jaguar in November 1993, they also promised to expand upon the system with an attachable CD-ROM drive. After numerous delays, the Jaguar CD was released on September 21, 1995, less than two weeks after the PlayStation. Included with the system were two games (Blue Lightning and Vid Grid), a Tempest 2000 soundtrack CD, and a demo disc for Myst.

Only eleven games were officially released for the Jaguar CD and the system was discontinued just a year later.
