Story
The BX-02 BLODIAA year before the events of Cyberbots: Fullmetal Madness, Jin's father (Ken Saotome) and the majority of his elite armored unit were killed in an event his superiors deemed an accident. To honour his late father's memory, Jin sets out to become the greatest Variant Armour pilot alive by proving his worth and earning his fortune in the VA battle circuit. After an encounter with Shade, who mentions both his father and his old comrade Gawaine Murdock, Jin decides to uncover the truth behind his father's death. Jin's search eventually leads him to Earth Corps' doomsday weapon which he, with the help of some of his new friends, destroys. As the weapon begins to fall to Earth, a hysteric Shade appears and mistakes Jin for his father and reveals that is responsible for his death. After the two battle, Shade reclaims his sanity and seeks to redeem himself for killing Ken by sacrificing himself to destroy the satellite as a favor to his former best friend's son.
Jin pilots the BX-02 BLODIA, a remodeled version of the AEX-10M BLODIA that was originally piloted by Jeff Perkins from Armored Warriors.
