Bioware fucked up, the story is awful, none of the decisions from the previous games matter, and the ending is pretty awful.

Edit: After checking out 4chan, i have to say, it's fucked up, even by lowered BioWare standards. But i still remain highly skeptical.

I know nothing about what is leaked and I will continue to be left in the dark until the game comes out.

I don't know how in any way an info dump of any game would not be dissapointing. Also, keep hte info to yourself

all of you who want to "stay in the dark"... should actually read the 4chan thread, like, it's so much worse than even I would have expected from them.

I like Mass Effect and all, but it would be kind of funny if the third one was terrible.

I don't want to spoil anything but I wouldn't shocked if your decisions didn't give you more than 2 conversations in game and more emails than you can shake a stick at.

Oh man, I am getting bummed out judging for reactions so far. Especially if none of my choices matter just to make it more accessible for new players. But I still refuse to read the spoilers.

Kind of glad I read the spoilers. If final, I've had time to accept the disappointment. If not final, and it turns out better, I'll be relieved. If it turns out worse, I'll cry. Laughing.

I kind of want to read it to see how bad it is. If it is bad I also want to slap everyone in the face that said having multiplayer wasn't a sign of the game's overall quality.

I can't believe they actually did a motherfucking Star Wars crossover.

What leaked was old, not final and most certainly incomplete. I fully expect the general idea to be the same and perhaps some of the scenarios to not change much, but I also imagine that we're only seeing a few pieces of the overall puzzle.

@msavo: Same here. I didn't read any of the end game stuff, just the things about how your specific "game changing" choices actually play out. Really hoping this script is like years out of date and not super recent. Could be too late to fix some of this stuff without a significant delay.

Even as someone who was never a big fan of the Mass Effect series and didn't expect Mass Effect 3 to be nearly as amazing or open-ended as Bioware were trying to make it seem, I am fucking shocked by the manner in which they're handling the players' choices.

I don't understand the whole "Lets attack Earth like an army force" thing for the Reapers, if you wanted to strike fear into everyone, but still collect them, why not go all Exterminatus on Earth and wipe it off the face of the universe, then take advantage of the severe morale drop to collect the remaining humans in outer space?

I'd really like to believe Bioware that this is out of date and don't necessarily reflect the final product. It's one thing if the ending is bad, most ending are disappointing anyway. But if it is true that none of the decisions made over the previous games actually mattered, it's going to be an incredibly unfortunate day.

I'm less worried about the endings than I am the choice carry over. I have those save files guarded and backed up as if they hold the nations secrets. Finding out that they are more or less worthless compared to hitting the new ass new game button is really depressing.
