Mass Effect 3
Game » consists of 19 releases. Released Mar 06, 2012
When Earth begins to fall in an ancient cycle of destruction, Commander Shepard must unite the forces of the galaxy to stop the Reapers in the final chapter of the original Mass Effect trilogy.
Will you be buying the Mass Effect 3 season pass?
Nope. I love the Mass Effect games, but my relation with them is I buy them day one. Play the shit out of it and beat in in about 2 days, then never play it again.
God I wish they had a season pass, I'm just going to end up buying all the fucking DLC anyway, might as well save some stupid money on it.

Same here for some reason I am a sucker for Mass Effect stuff. I even bought that crappy dlc Pinnacle Station in ME1.
Likely. Hope there's a code-in-a-box for PC users. If absolutely necessary I'll stock up on them phony Bioware points. Or maybe I should finally look into getting a credit or debit card, so I can get in on the digital distribution stuff without buying prepaid cards. Oh what atrocities would Steam do to me. All the games I'd buy and never play...
@DeShawn2ks: Ugh Pinnacle Station. Even worse then Bring Down the Sky. At least ME 2 made up for the first game's awful DLC.
Sure, I'm a huge fan of the series and doubt there will be enough missteps (despite what a lot of this community might believe) to ruin the series. I guess it depends a lot on what the pass promises and how much it costs, but if it is reasonable (and most have been so far) I'm in.
Really this question is for the people who bought all 5 DLC packs for ME2. I bought 4 and liked them all so I wouldn't mind saving money next time around, but then again who knows what their DLC plans are going to be and if they will get lazy once they have our money in their pockets.

This. I need as much Mass Effect as humanly possible.
Probably not. I don't mess with season passes, generally. Though I'll probably end up getting all ME3 DLC anyway because I have no impulse control, so maybe I ought to.
If they are providing I will get it since I bought all the story/mission based DLC from Mass Effect 2.
I think I'll wait and see what the DLC they bring out for the game even is first. The Shadowbroker DLC for ME2 was really the only truly good one, and even then, it wasn't long. I'd like to see something with a substantial amount of content for the price they ask for. Seven to ten bucks for two hours worth of gameplay isn't a great deal at all.
I've never found DLC to be worth the bother. 2-4 more hours of content on top of the same game I just played for 30-40 hours? No thank you!
Considering the rather inconsistent quality of Bioware's previous DLC offerings, I'm going to guess that, in general, it would be better for me to save my money for the one good DLC pack (i.e. Shadow Broker) rather than risk spending more on something like say... Kasumi's mission.
@ArbitraryWater: but that smg you get along with it, is one pf the best weapon in the game and as one that plays sentinel it is quite essential

Nah, I'll be lucky to get through the main game, besides Bioware is very hit-and-miss with their DLC.

No ME3 for me. I've got my RPG of choice in hand already FFXIII-2 and between that and Twisted Metal gonna be a long few months before I need some new singleplayer stuff.
Oh man... I think if you put your taste in games and my taste in games in a room, locked the door, and came back in an hour, there would be nothing left by scraps of flesh and unidentifiable viscera.
I bought all the DLC (excluding some weapon and character skins) for ME2. I've got the special edition of ME3 pre-ordered, but anything beyond that will be based solely on the ME3 experience. I'm not full of optimism for ME3, even though the series has easily been my my loved experience of this generation.
I'm in fact rather terrified about the whole thing. Here's to hoping that the experience warrants my purchase of a season pass.
No. The shadow broker was the only memorable piece of DLC last round. They are going to have to prove the value of the pass before I get down with. I bought the Gears season pass and there has only been one piece of DLC that's been worth a damn. Let's hope the next few months changes that.
Nah, I'll be pretty lucky if I even bother with ME3 at all. Have to see the demo when it comes out, but to be honest, Bioware haven't given me a reason to buy it. Judging by the fact that the spoilers that were leaked made them actually ask people what they wanted due to the outrage surrounding it, the piss poor, story-breaking aspects of Arrival's fucking awful plot, and the fact that they screwed everybody by releasing weapon and armour packs, effectively shitting on the customization promised for the game, I see no reason to give them even more money for what will more than likely be Co-Op specific maps and add-ons, while they never bother supporting the SP campaign, which I can imagine would be less than what people believe it could potentially be. And given that I can't play gears 3 without one map pack because I wasn't 'on-board' with the DLC lark, I don't see why this is any different. If they aren't happy with my baseline purchase, then fuck them!
Hell, I've got a backlog that includes Skyrim and Borderlands, I still want to play Last Story and Xenoblade, and the Alan Wake arcade game, along with renting a few other interesting looking titles that I won't mind letting me down. Sadly, given Bioware's history as of late, they've fallen out of my good graces, and while I hope I'm wrong, I can't see ME3 being a game many people sign up for over a long period of time, as they've seen that Bioware's DLC has been more miss than hit.
If I'm wrong, then I'll be damn happy, and if I'm right, then I won't really care, so either way, no season pass, no ME3, and no hassle.
I've bought every Mass Effect / Mass Effect 2 DLC so far, I'm generally a day one sucker for everything except outfits.
I do end up getting those later on for my many many playthroughs to some variety I suppose.
I will not get a season pass until I know exactly whats in it, and I will not if it's for multiplayer crap.
Single player only, or no deal.
I played both ME1 and ME2 last year. I played all of the DLC and was very impressed. I just hope they don't end up squeezing us all for everything we have, but with EA driving this one...
More Mass Effect you say? I don't share a lot of peoples sentiment that there was only one good piece of DLC last time around. I thoroughly enjoyed each one. Just tell me who to give my credit card information to.
Probably not, because I don't doubt there's going to be some multiplayer stuff in there and I won't be able to play it. Of course it could all be single-player stuff (which seems unlikely), and my original idea of just buying the single-player stuff separate might backfire... but there's the caveat for buying the season pass. It's a gamble, and I don't think it's one I'm entirely comfortable betting on.
@BrockNRolla: I like MassEffect but I'm not huge into sci-fi and am a bigger fan of Final Fantasy. My job situation has changed so due to limited funds I have to be very picky now with games I buy. Last year I was able to buy just about everything I wanted. Not so lucky this year it seems. Besides if I wait its bound to come out at $40 with all the DLC at some point anyways.
