I don't think that's accurate. I think the Wii U is actually the name of the console as they kept on saying ''Wii U controller''. I Think the console's gonna launch in 2012.

I'm actually excited at the idea of a Nintendo console, w/ Nintendo exclusives, also being able top play current, big titles.
I congratulate Nintendo for being able to first make us really disapointed, then confused, and now actually pretty interested... all in under 10 minutes...
This is so weird. They are basically announcing that they are finally up to pace with PS3 and 360. If sony or microsoft announce a new console next year WiiU will already be outdated.
